Sir Rod Stewart reportedly has a big surprise in store as he headlines Glastonbury's legend's slot next year. The show will be a triumphant return for Rod 22 years after his last performance at Worthy Farm.
It has been reported that Rod plans to take his beloved hobby to the Somerset festival.
His pal, Jools Holland, hinted that Rod will take one of his model railway stations with him, and may even make a new Glastonbury-themed model.
The musician told the Mirror: “He can’t bring the whole set because it’s enormous. But whenever he’s on tour, he’ll have a station building which he will take with him to a hotel.
“He could create his own little railway that goes around Glastonbury – a little ride-on thing that went up to the Healing Fields, around the jazz tent and back to the Pyramid Stage."

Last month, Rod, 79, excitedly announced the news with his Instagram followers, revealing he will fill the prestigious Sunday afternoon legends slot at the festival.
In an enthusiastic post, Sir Rod told his fans: "I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that I'll be playing @glastofest 2025! After all these years, I'm proud and ready and more than able to take the stage again to pleasure and titillate my friends at Glastonbury in June. I'll see you there!"
The announcement has sent waves of excitement through his fanbase, with many taking to the comments to express their anticipation. One supporter declared: "Going out on a HIGH in 2025," while another vowed: "I'll be in the front row."
Having previously headlined the festival in 2002 alongside Coldplay and Stereophonics, Sir Rod's upcoming performance is highly anticipated. Despite not planning to retire, he hinted earlier this year at a new direction for his live shows, reports the Mirror.

After overcoming prostate and thyroid cancer battles, the iconic musician has decided to scale back from major world tours. In a message shared on Instagram, the Grammy Award-winning artist declared: "This will be the end of large-scale world tours, but I have no desire to retire."
He continued: "I love what I do and I do what I love. I'm fit, I have a full head of hair and can run 100 metres in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79."
He went on to reassure his fans that while the massive tours might be concluding, his performances were not. He expressed an interest in potential projects like a "move onto a Great American Songbook" or "Swing Fever tour" in 2026 and revealed his intention to perform in smaller, more intimate venues.
Remaining coy about the future, he playfully remarked: "But then again, I may not.."
