Southern Hospitality Stars Joe Bradley and Maddi Reese’s Parents React to Vegas Elopement

Joe Bradley and Maddi Reese’s relationship and Vegas wedding is the big story on Southern Hospitality. Fans are excited to see the evolution of their relationship that ended in a surprise elopement in Sin City. And the surprise wasn’t just for fans, Joe and Maddi’s parents were pretty surprised too.

Now everyone will see the Joe and Maddi story unfold on the new season of Southern Hospitality that just premiered. This means seeing the love story unfold and just not the culmination in Las Vegas.

When the trailer of Southern Hospitality dropped, fans were shocked to see Joe and Maddi getting hitched. But the truth is the couple had been in a relationship for quite some time before saying “I do.” And they had no regrets about their Vegas nuptials.

“The whole group was having a hard time and I feel like we needed something fun,” Maddi told E! News about eloping. “I feel like that was fun!”

Joe called the surprise wedding both “hilarious and beautiful,” but wouldn’t spill too many details. “I don’t want to give too much away about the wedding because there’s so much of our love story that happens leading up to that,” he explained. He did admit though that after years of pursuing Maddi, Joe was more than ready to make her his bride.

“It’s been on my mind longer than hers,” Joe said. “We’re also just crazy and spontaneous. Even our families were like, ‘Oh these two idiots.’”

Maddi added that her mom wasn’t shocked either because Maddi and Joe are quite impulsive and live in the moment. But that doesn’t mean their parents were thrilled about the news.

“No, they were mad,” Maddi confirmed. “They were mad for sure.”

Joe added, “I had to do a lot of ass-kissing on Thanksgiving this year. But we are so close with our families and they know that we ride or die for them. They just want us to be happy.”

Southern Hospitality is on Bravo Thursdays at 9/8c, with new episodes on Peacock the next day.
