Spencer Matthews QUITS podcast he presented with wife Vogue as his replacement is revealed

SPENCER Matthews has shocked fans after he told them he has quit the podcast he presents with wife Vogue, before revealing a surprising replacement.

The couple have been hosting the show since 2020, and it has won over an army of fans as they talk about life in the Matthews' household.

Spencer, 36, and Vogue, 39 have been married since 2018 and share three children, Theodore, five, Gigi, three, baby Otto.

But today, the former Made In Chelsea star admitted that he would be taking a step back from the role.

Despite the show being called the Spencer and Vogue Podcast, someone else close to the pair is stepping in to replace him and the show will be given a name change.

Revealing the news, Spence told his listeners: "I’m moving on from this podcast to pursue other business interests and focus on my upcoming challenge.

"I’ve loved doing this show and it would never have been as popular as it would be without the listeners."

Spencer added that he’ll "miss the show" and "working with [Vogue] in this capacity".

Speaking about his replacement, he promised they would be "of equal or superior charisma, much funnier [and] very happy to talk about gossip".

Signing off he added: "We both love her very much and she’s an epic member of our family and she’ll do an incredible job!"

Vogue then added her own message and said: "I won’t miss you, because I’ll see you at home!

"Spencer & Vogue will continue and we will keep it in the family!".

The broadcaster then announced her sister Amber Wilson would be taking over from her husband, and the show would be renamed Vogue and Amber.

Meanwhile, over the last year Spencer has undergone a HUGE body and lifestyle transformation.

The former reality star told The Sun how he took control of his life and ditched the booze and headed to the gym.

Spencer even completed a massive feat when he took on 30 marathons 30 desert ­marathons in 30 days.

He told us how extreme exercise has saved his marriage and his life.

Spencer, who was once so addicted to booze that even his own family shunned him, said: “I look back at the time wasted where I could have been turning myself into something else.”

Going on, he said: "There have been times in my life when I’ve really felt like an outsider with my own family, because of my behaviour and ­general attitude.

“I had a kind of arrogance about me, where I just felt like I could do stuff without actually doing it.

“I had such a bad relationship with alcohol. I abused alcohol all the way up till my late twenties.

“I almost felt like I wasn’t trusted by certain people in my own family. I lived with a fair amount of shame.

“I’d know that the drinking was a bit out of control, I would know that I shouldn’t really be doing it.

“I had this kind of blasé approach to life where I had this thing about me that was pretty unattractive.

“When I look back I do think it’s why, when people mentioned Made In Chelsea, I get a bit like, ‘Euch!’, because it was around all that time.”
