Spencer Pratt has celebrated a huge milestone just days after his and his wife Heidi Montag’s house burned down in the LA wildfires.
Earlier this week, the reality TV stars revealed their home was completely destroyed after a massive 1,200-acre brush fire broke out in the Palisades neighbourhood on Tuesday morning. Thankfully, they were able to evacuate with their two sons earlier in the day, but the family has lost "everything".
In a new TikTok video posted yesterday, 41-year-old Spencer made a ‘dark’ joke about the situation as he raised a glass to the camera. He quipped: “Cheers to a million followers on TikTok. Who would’ve thought that all I needed was our house to burn down to finally hit a million. Can’t believe I didn’t think of that sooner.” Acknowledging the joke was a little edgy given the circumstances, he captioned his post: “Dark humour.”
Thankfully for Spencer, the clip went down a storm with his social media followers, with one commenting: “Who woulda thought Spencer Pratt would become our most loved guy on TikTok? Prayers to you guys and all of California!” Another person echoed: “I never in my teenage life thought that Spencer Pratt would be one of my favorite people on TikTok. Sending good vibes and energy your way.”
Other comments included: “Dark humour is exactly what we need in this situation. Cheers,” and “Never in 1 million years would I have thought Spencer Pratt is my favourite person on TikTok. It’s blowing my mind.”
Earlier in the week, Spencer confirmed his family’s home was no more. Before the evacuation began, Spencer shared a video on his Instagram Stories showing fire officials attempting to control the blaze by dropping water from above onto the nearby mountainside. He was seen outside his home, visibly upset by the spreading fire, which eventually engulfed the property.

Heidi admitted she became "overwhelmed" with the situation as she attempted to grab basic essentials for her family. Heidi tried to hold back her tears as she admitted it was a "blessing" she was able to take anything from her home. She said she’s struggling to come to terms with the loss of their property, yet insisted she is thankful her family is safe.
"Craziest thing when you're packing for a fire is that your brain just freaks out, like 'what do I need? What do I not need?' and it's so overwhelming," she said in a social media video. "Packing up the house, I mean I only have two pairs of jeans, two shirts, I've got so much more clothes for the kids, but why didn't I grab more."
Heidi added: "Thankfully I grabbed anything, which is a blessing, and the main thing is that we're safe and got out, but oh my gosh it's really like panic and then a part of you wants to leave stuff, and like 'I'm coming back! Of course I'm coming back!' So just praying for everyone else who's going through this, and all my friends and loved ones, and just thank god we have our health and our children.
"I know that and that's just trying to focus on the gratitude. It just kind of comes in waves, it's a lot."
It's reported over 1,000 homes have been destroyed and more than 70,000 people evacuated. One of the areas hardest hit is the Pacific Palisades, an affluent Los Angeles neighbourhood that is the home to many high profile A-listers, including Mandy Moore, Paris Hilton,
Anthony Hopkins and Jamie Lee Curtis, all of whom have lost their homes in the unfolding carnage.
