One thing about Amanda Seales — she’s always going to stand up for something! This time, she’s making moves and boycotting all Meta platforms starting on February 1.

Amanda Seales Gets Real About Her Decision To Leave Meta Apps
The actress let it be known in a video she dropped on Instagram on Saturday, January 25, that she’s done with all Meta apps. She didn’t sugarcoat it either — saying knows the decision will cost her a bag and cut off access to folks who’ve been rocking with her for years. But for her, keeping her “integrity” is worth more than all of that.
“So February 1st I will not be here no more. And I’m just gonna show you better than I could tell you,” Seales said.
Furthermore, the ‘Insecure’ star kept it real, saying she made the choice a year ago to scale back her lifestyle so she wouldn’t rely on capitalism or keep enabling it. Additionally, she spilled that she’s already boycotting Amazon and hasn’t messed with McDonald’s or Starbucks for over a year. Now, she’s adding Meta to her boycott list.
“And it’s going to be the first boycott though that will affect me directly monetarily and it is what is necessary, that’s why you do it. And not just because the good of people but the good of your soul,” Seales continued.
Amanda also let her fans and IG followers know that while she’s leaving Meta, they can still catch her on YouTube, sign up for her newsletter, or subscribe to her Patreon.
