Stephanie Davis revealed the touching meaning behind her newborn son Samuel's name as she shared a joint post with partner Joe McKalroy.
Soap star Stephanie, 31 - who has starred in both Hollyoaks and Coronation Street - welcomed her son Samuel with her partner Joe, 28, recently. Stephanie is already a parent to son Caben, eight, from a previous relationship. Stephanie and Joe shared the news on Tuesday night with a series of photos from the hospital.
The couple revealed they named their baby son Samuel, after the little one's late uncle. Joe wrote: "Welcome to the world my beautiful baby boy Samuel McKalroy. Named after your uncle the one and only who will always weigh heavy on my heart I wish so much that he could’ve met you and cherished you as much as I do.
"It has been a traumatic experience but you are finally here in our arms. I never thought I could possibly love your mummy anymore than I already do but this is just so special and an unconditional love I cannot explain with words. @stephaniedavis88 I love you more than you will ever know."

She kept fans updated on her experience through social media after sharing the news five months ago, including having posted about her baby shower in December.
She discussed her pregnancy at the end of 2024. Speaking to her followers, she said: "Looking back to the start when they told us we might lose you, to where we are now is a miracle. You are one strong baby boy, our little fighter. Mummy and Daddy are counting down the days now till you are here in our arms. And your big brother is feeling you move every night excitedly waiting for you to arrive. Our rainbow baby. Our miracle. Our world."
