Strictly's Craig Revel Horwood grapples with the Blackpool wind as stars booze it up at wrap party

BBC Strictly Come Dancing stars descended on their wrap party on Saturday evening after a long night at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom

Craig Revel Horwood and Claudia Winkleman joined this year's stars at Strictly's famous Blackpool wrap party after a dramatic night on the dancefloor.

The judge, 69, looked almost unrecognisable without his smart three-piece suit, opting instead for a huge cream puffer jacket as the wind played havoc with his hair. Making his way to their hotel alongside Anton Du Beke, the pair were ready to party with the exhausted celebrities and their professional partners.

Host Claudia also managed to sneak into the party with her hair covered with a beanie as she grinned at fans and paps. Holding onto a packet of Skips, Claudia was looking to have a quick bunch before enjoying a drink after a long night of work.

Despite donning a pair of trainers after a tiring day, fellow host Tess Daly looked as glam as ever in a gold sequinned bomber jacket, hair gracefully brushed into a sleek ponytail as she made her way to the party.

Also rushing to get in was Katya Jones, who was seen without celebrity partner Wynne Evans as she lugged around a large silver bag. With her hair pulled onto a bun, Katya appeared relaxed and happy as she made her way to unwind and chill.

It Takes Two host Fleur East was among the revellers, laughing as she joined the stars in a simple pair of jeans and a jacket. Her former partner Vito Coppola was also pictured flashing a peace sign to photographers, while JB Gill was spotted looking slightly pained as he braved the wet weather in an 'I [heart] BPL' top.

Never ones to miss out on a fun time, Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell appeared delighted as they were pictured hugging after the show. And they certainly have reason to be happy after scoring their first 10s from Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke following their American Smooth to Jump by Paul Anka.

At the top of the leaderboard on Saturday night, however, were Sarah Hadland and Tasha Ghouri, who both scored near-perfect 39s for their Couple’s Choice to Padam Padam by Kylie Minogue and Paso Doble to Nathan Lanier's Torn, respectively.

At the bottom of the leaderboard were Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystał, who failed to impress the judges and scored a four from Craig, giving them a total of 27. Not far behind were Wynne Evans and Katya Jones with their score of 31.
