There's still almost two weeks to go until the big Black Friday sales get underway but that's not stopping some of the major UK retailers from starting deals early. Currys, Very, Amazon and John Lewis have all started slashing prices with deals on phones, laptops and headphones all going live ahead on the main event on November 29. Of course, Argos has also joined the price cut party with the retailer offering iPhones for just £399 and Galaxy laptops for £119 but another deal that has caught our eyes is offering a top-rated LG telly for only £179 - that the 'lowest ever' price from Argos.
This 43-inch Smart HDR television comes packed with features including full access to all the most popular streaming services such as Freeview Play, NOW, Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+.
Although this telly isn't 4K compatible it does offer technology such as a Resolution Upscaler which helps to make everything you watch as sharp as possible.

There's also support for HDR10 which helps boost the contrast and colour and sound is also upgraded thanks to some clever Artifical Intelligence.
If you're a PS5 or Xbox fan there's also a Game Optimiser mode which tweaks your game settings to ensure the best experience when playing titles such as Call of Duty or Fortnite.

Other features include an AI Processor Gen5 for fast access to menus and apps plus there are two HDMI ports on the rear and built-in Wi-Fi.

This isn't the only television deal from Argos with the store also discounting a whole swathe of Freely screens as well. These latest televisions offer access to live and on-demand content without needing an aerial stuck to the chimney. One thing to note before buying from Argos. Amazon has just announced the launch of a new top-end Micro LED Fire TV which offers much improved quality over its previous models.
In fact, Amazon is boasting that its new Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series “optimises picture quality, audio, and performance to deliver its best and most innovative TV yet”.
The Fire TV Omni Mini-LED series comes in three sizes (55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch) with prices usually starting from £849.99.
However, those buying one today will get that cost reduced to just £649.99 to celebrate the launch.
