Sweaty Betty has launched new stores on either side of the Atlantic.
The sportswear brand has opened stores in Washington DC and Chicago, alongside stores in Cardiff and Westfield London.
The new US openings come after Sweaty Betty closed its 12 US branches in 2020, after opening its first shops in New York in 2013.
Melissa Mullen, global brand president of Sweaty Betty, said: “We are thrilled to open these new US locations in Chicago and DC, as well as our new UK stores, all which mark an exciting opportunity to connect with new communities and deepen our presence in key markets.”
She added: “We look forward to being part of these vibrant cities, supporting our consumers’ active lifestyles, and continuing to grow our global sisterhood.”
The Chicago store is located on Southport Avenue, while the Washington DC store is in the Georgetown neighbourhood.
The Cardiff store – the first Sweaty Betty branch in Wales - is in Morgan Quarter in Cardiff, and the new London store is in Westfield mall in Stratford. The brand now has 85 stores across the UK.
Sweaty Betty was founded by Tamara Hill-Norton in London in 1998.
