The break-in at the home of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow just got a whole lot more interesting — and possibly scandalous?!?
While the athlete was in Texas for a game against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night, his house in Ohio was broken into. According to a police report obtained by People on Tuesday, police officers from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to his Anderson Township home after the mother of a 22-year-old woman who works for Joe called 911. The report stated that when the employee arrived at the residence that evening, she found a “shattered bedroom window and the room ransacked.” She then called her mom, who contacted law enforcement. WLWT-TV reported the mother told a dispatcher:
“Someone is trying to break into the house right now. My daughter is there. This is Joe Burrow’s house. She is staying there. He’s at the football game. She’s wondering what she should do, if she should be hiding, or if she should go outside. She said someone was in the house.”

The daughter then called 911 herself, saying:
“Someone broke into my house. It’s like completely messed up.”
“My house”… We thought she was just an employee! More on that in a minute. The woman is then heard talking to a security guard at the home. Per the police report, a rear bedroom window on the first level was broken. You can see a pic of his window boarded up (below):

While at the scene, officers also reached out to Joe’s neighbors to get surveillance footage of possible suspects of the burglary. So scary! The identity of the woman who alerted police about the burglary at the football player’s home was unknown — until now!
People reported on Tuesday night that influencer and model Olivia Ponton (top right inset) was the one to contact the police. Huh? Didn’t the report say the woman at the house was his employee? Something tells us a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model like Olivia is not working for Joe! She’s most likely dating him! So, why would she say she’s employed by him? Are they trying to hide something? Hmm.
You see, Joe has been dating Olivia Holzmacher (bottom left inset) since 2017 — back in his college days at Ohio State. Last year, the former cornerback for the Bengals, Adam Jones, claimed on The Pat McAfee Show that the couple got engaged. Joe and Holzmacher never confirmed it, but she was seen wearing an engagement ring around that time. However, they have not been seen together since January, when Holzmacher posted a photo of them together on Instagram! And that sparked breakup rumors! Swipe to the last slide (below) to see the picture:
The college sweethearts never addressed the split rumors. So, either this burglary just confirmed he and Holzmacher broke up, and he moved on… with another Olivia. Jeez! The guy has a thing for girls named Olivia! Or he just got caught cheating. (Because, again, why be called an employee?? So curious.)
That said, we must point out there have been rumors of Joe and Ponton dating for a while. Back in June, DeuxMoi reported an exclusive source revealed he was dating the social media personality following his breakup with Holzmacher:
“Joe Burrow is dating Olivia Ponton. Not sure if it’s 100% serious, but something has definitely been going on over the past couple of months.”
So, considering Joe and Holzmacher haven’t been seen together for months AND the relationship rumors, it sounds like this may just be confirmation they broke up at the beginning of the year. But what a messy situation, nevertheless! A burglary is not how you want your split with one Olivia and your new romance with another Olivia to be confirmed. LOLz! Back to that whole ordeal…
We do have more details about the break-in. People later reported the police report further said Ponton reported the burglary at around 8:14 p.m. She also called her mom, Diane, “prompting the 911 call.” When police arrived at the place, they cleared the house and the Criminal Intelligence Section took photos and evidence of the crime scene. Police pointed out that Joe “was out of town” and couldn’t report what items were taken, so Ponton gave a list of what was “possibly missing.” TMZ also obtained the audio of Diane and Olivia’s call to 911. Take a listen (below):
It sounds like Joe has some explaining to do about the whole Olivia situation after this burglary!
