Tamra Judge slammed Jen Aydin for her controversial “job-shaming” video at an airport Jersey Mike’s. The Real Housewives of Orange County star, who has a history with Jen, said she isn’t a “f**king celebrity,” as Teddi Mellencamp reacted.
Last week, Jen posted an angry video calling out an “80”-year-old Jersey Mike’s employee for making her sandwich too slowly. She also called herself a “celebrity,” though no one in the restaurant seemed to recognize her from Real Housewives of New Jersey.
For a while now, Tamra and Jen have publicly shaded each other over their actions on Bravo. Jen has claimed that Tamra is too mean and lacks empathy. Tamra has called out Jen for boasting about her money status.
On a recent episode of her Two Ts In A Pod podcast, Teddi claimed that Jen was Tamra’s “favorite person to talk about.”
“A lot was going on at Jersey Mike’s in an airport!” said Tamra, smiling. “Jennifer Aydin, my favorite person, was slammed for age and job-shaming a Jersey Mike’s employee.”
“Who’s eating a Jersey Mike’s sandwich for breakfast?!” Tamra asked, as Teddi made a sound of disgust.
“And know your demographic!” Teddi added. “Like the ‘elderly’ woman working at Jersey Mike’s is probably not a big huge Jen Aydin, Real Housewives of New Jersey fan. Also, [her saying] ‘I’m a celebrity…'”
“Here’s the thing,” Tamra interjected. “You know what I feel about that? If you have to tell somebody that you’re a celebrity, you ain’t a f**king celebrity.”
On New Year’s Day, Jen first took to Instagram to complain about her service.
“Forget [that] this lady was slow, but the rudest — [Jersey Mike’s] they all were [and] they had just opened — shoulda went to [Shake Shack],” said Jen in the video. “So rude — first she said they’re ‘only serving cold sandwiches’ (so no eggs). Then, she makes the lady’s sandwich behind me first — I waited [without] complaint — then she told me I had to wait [in] line again if I wanted to add a mini tuna for my son — unless the guy behind me said it was okay — which he did not.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently on hiatus.
