Hockey Hall of Famer Roberto Luongo shared his experience from attending Taylor Swift's concert at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, where he couldn't resist making a lighthearted comment about the cost of his upgraded seats. Luongo, currently a special advisor for the Florida Panthers, took to X to share his thoughts on the concert, playfully poking fun at how much he had to pay for a better view.
This wasn't his first Swift concert either. Earlier this year, he attended her show in Milan and humorously shared his less-than-ideal seating situation with his followers.
Luongo's humorous post on social media
For the Miami concert, Luongo made sure to showcase his improved vantage point, along with a remark about the steep price.
"Upgraded seats but will have to work rest of my life to pay it off," Luongo wrote on X.
Swift's "Eras Tour" has been drawing massive crowds globally, with ticket prices soaring-some resale seats in Miami were reportedly going for over $1,000, though they've been dropping recently.
Back in July, Luongo's posts from the Milan concert had gone viral after he joked about how far he and his family were from the stage.
"This is Taylor, you can barely see her here but don't worry we couldn't either," he wrote.
During his NHL career, Luongo played in 1,044 regular-season games, earning 489 wins, 77 shutouts, and winning two Olympic gold medals with Team Canada.
Although he never won the Stanley Cup as a player, he celebrated a championship as an executive with the Florida Panthers in 2024, cementing his legacy both on and off the ice.
