Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship has captured fans' attention, though not everyone is convinced it's built to last. Cornerback Patrick Peterson has shared his perspective on Kelce and Swift's romance.

During a recent appearance on GOLF's Subpar podcast, he was asked if he believed their romance was "true love or a flash in the pan".

Travis Kelce can't resist joining the celebration and gets jealous of his teammates

Peterson paused before responding with "flash in the pan." He refrained from further comment but mentioned he hopes his prediction isn't accurate.

The couple's relationship has sparked endless speculation. Whenever Swift skips a Chiefs game, breakup rumors circulate online, including a fabricated "breakup contract" that was debunked by Kelce's representatives as "false and fabricated."

"She feels safer with him than anyone she's ever known; she knows he would do anything for her and physically she feels protected by him, and she loves that feeling. It's a relatively new one for her, relationship-wise," a source told Page Six.

"Travis is her protector in every sense of the word. He is going to make sure she is physically safe, and emotionally safe-he is not going to do anything careless or reckless with her."

Happy in relationship

In a recent episode of New Heights on October 30, Kelce shared an update on his relationship with Swift, expressing how "happy" he is with her, though he didn't comment on recent engagement rumors sparked by Swift's ring. The couple's romance remains in the spotlight as they navigate life in the public eye.

"I appreciate you always, and every time someone has a mic in front of you and asks you something like that, thank you for always showing love," he told his Grotesquerie co-star Niecy Nash

"You know it's real, and you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy, and I appreciate you always making sure everybody knows that so thank you."
