Taylor Swift, Brittany Mahomes cheer on Chiefs together before Election Day despite political differences

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes spent election eve cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs despite their opposing political views.

The “Cruel Summer” singer — who flew in to Kansas City, Mo., after finishing her three Eras Tour concerts in Indianapolis this weekend — joined her fellow WAG in a private suite at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday to root for their respective significant others, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.

Swift, 34, and Brittany, 29, sat together for most of the night and eagerly supported the tight end, 35, and the quarterback, 29, in a tight game that ultimately led to the Chiefs defeating the Tampa Buccaneers 30-24 in overtime.

Swift and Brittany even seen shared a sweet moment of concern upon realizing Patrick had rolled his ankle after scoring a touchdown. However, he continued playing the game and later told reporters he was fine.

The Grammy winner also sat alongside her mother, Andrea Swift, brother, Austin Swift, and Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, in the suite. Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, later joined them after filming his “Monday Night Countdown” episode.

Meanwhile, Brittany, who is pregnant with her and Patrick’s third child, went with a more neutral look consisting of a faded denim set with baggy pants and an oversized jacket over a white T-shirt.

The entire group seemed to be getting along and focusing on the game — despite it happening the night before Election Day.

Taylor and Brittany previously faced speculation that their friendship had turned rocky after they publicly shared opposing views on the candidates, with the pop star supporting Vice President Kamala Harris and the former soccer player supporting former President Donald Trump.

In September, Taylor publicly endorsed Harris, 60, and running mate Tim Walz after watching the veep face off against Trump, 78, in a presidential debate.

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” she shared via Instagram on Sept. 10. “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”

The “Lover” songstress shared the sentiment just a few weeks after Brittany “liked” Trump posts on Instagram and later clapped back at people who called her out for it.

The Mahomes family’s political views made headlines again Monday when Patrick’s mom, Randi Mahomes, backed Trump in a viral video while wearing a “Make America Great Again” at the Chiefs game.

Even the “Apprentice” alum got involved in the discourse by publicly thanking Brittany for her support — and denouncing Taylor.

“I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,” he wrote via Truth Social on Sept. 4.

Trump went on to say he liked Brittany “much better” than Taylor because “she’s a big Trump fan.”

He then took to Truth Social on Sept. 15 to bluntly write, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”

Meanwhile, Harris capitalized on Taylor’s endorsement by selling the star’s signature friendship bracelets and releasing Taylor-inspired ads for her campaign.
