The Kansas City Chiefs have had an eventful season, but one of the most talked-about storylines off the field has been the romance between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. Despite Swift's global dominance as Spotify's most-streamed artist of 2024, she was noticeably absent from the Spotify Wrapped lists of Kelce's teammates.

In a TikTok video posted by the Chiefs' official social media account, several players revealed their top-streamed artists of the year - but none of them named Taylor Swift.

Among the Chiefs' top picks were NBA YoungBoy (mentioned by Mike Pennel and Chris Jones), Rod Wave (picked by running back Kareem Hunt), and Nashville-based rock band Kings of Leon (selected by offensive tackle Creed Humphrey). Other players opted for big names like Kendrick Lamar, Lauryn Hill, Tems, Future and Drake.

While the players had diverse musical tastes, the absence of Taylor Swift caught the attention of both Swifties and Chiefs fans. Swift, whose latest album "The Tortured Poets Department" was the most-streamed album globally in 2024, is also one-half of the NFL's most talked-about couple.

Fans in the TikTok comment section didn't hold back. Some joked that the players "didn't understand the assignment," while others called out specific picks, like one user saying, "Chris Brown??? In 2024?? Woof."

But perhaps the most passionate reaction came from Taylor Swift fans, who questioned why Travis Kelce wasn't part of the interview. One fan commented, "Where is our Travy for this question?" while another added, "I'm personally insulted by the fact that Travis Kelce was not in this."

Travis Kelce praises Swift's Eras Tour

While Kelce wasn't featured in the Spotify Wrapped TikTok, he did share his thoughts on Taylor's record-shattering Eras Tour on the latest episode of his 'New Heights' podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce.

"Shout-out to Tay, and the unbelievable Eras Tour has finally come to an end," Travis said during the December 11 episode.

"Shout-out to everybody that was a part of that show. Obviously, it's her music, her tour and everything, but that was a full production, man. That thing was the best tour in the world because of a lot of people, but mostly because of Taylor."
