Would U watch a cheesy movie inspired by your love life? Apparently Taylor Swift would! And she’s planning to!
In case you didn’t hear the news, Lifetime has put together one of their signature cheesy Christmas rom-coms this year, only this time it was inspired by the singer and her NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce! Multiple outlets have reported on the upcoming film Christmas In The Spotlight, which is about a musician who falls in love with a pro athlete in front of the entire world. Sound familiar? We mean, who else could this film be about? Definitely too on point to be a coincidence.

Innerestingly, though, Tay’s super strict team hasn’t even looked into this film! The 34-year-old hasn’t been given a screener, nor has her PR group even prodded at the movie’s crew, according to an insider for The US Sun. Not that she could stop them from telling an original story that was just inspired by her love life. But it kinda sounds like she wouldn’t even want to!
Based on what this source told the outlet, she is “aware” of the flick — and will probably give it a shot! The source said on Tuesday:
“Taylor has been so busy on her Eras world tour but she is aware of the film. She hasn’t been sent a screener so it’ll make for interesting viewing for her, depending on how they play out their love story on film.”
She’s actually going to watch it? OMG!
The source says Tay Tay has been known to enjoy the holiday rom com from time to time — so a corny version of her own romance isn’t out of the question! The insider dished:
“Taylor loves a tacky Christmas flick but whether she’ll like this one is another thing.”
It’ll definitely be interesting to get her perspective on it! Hopefully the actors and script do her and Trav justice… Even if they’re not actually technically playing them.
