If there's one thing Taylor Swift loves, it's doting on her friends' kids. Chariah Gordon, Swift's newest WAG bestie, reveals that the superstar actually knit a baby blanket for Gordon's daughter while she was in Europe for her Eras Tour.
"I haven't told nobody this, but she knitted my daughter a blanket in between her sets,” Gordon reveals to Glamour. “It's so freaking cute and so thoughtful. She said that her aunt did it for her when she was a kid and she wanted to do the same for me. So she, in between shows, was making blankets and getting my kids super near.”
Swift has also gifted handmade baby blankets to friends Gigi Hadid and Katy Perry, but those were sewn out of pink silk fabric. Like with Hadid, Swift is already at “auntie” status for Gordon's two kids. Gordon posted an Instagram Story on November 10 showing Swift holding Gordon's baby girl with the text, “Auntie Tay and Baby Ci.”
Gordon—who is engaged to Travis Kelce's teammate Mecole Hardman Jr.—said that she and Swift clicked right away. "I actually got a chance to meet her at Trav's house and she was just super, super sweet. And since then we've been super cool. I call her my sis. That's my sis,” she tells Glamour. Which explains why Taylor Swift has been popping up more often on Chariah Gordon's social media lately.
“She's just really a sweet down to earth girl. I forgot that she was even Taylor Swift, that's how she makes you feel. I wasn't saying, oh my God, this is Taylor. I'm like, oh, this is one of my home girls from back home. That's how I felt. So I love it. She makes it.”
