Taylor Swift has at least one more chance to cheer on Travis Kelce as the the Kansas City Chiefs fight for a Super Bowl three-peat.
After taking a bye week—a perk of earning the number one seed in the AFC (American Football Conference)—the Kansas City Chiefs will head back to Arrowhead on January 18. So far, Swift has attended all but one home game this season, which she only missed to perform her final Eras Tour concert on December 8. On the flip side, she's skipped every single away game this season, reportedly due to scheduling conflicts and alleged security concerns.
“She has worked with Arrowhead so many times; they are at ease and comfortable,” a source told Page Six back in September. “Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.”
Luckily for Swifties, another advantage that comes with securing the top seed in the AFC is hosting every playoff game the Kansas City Chiefs participate in, whether that's just one more game or they make it to the AFC Championships on January 26. The Super Bowl, of course, is a whole different story, as the AFC champions will take on the NFC (National Football Conference) champions in New Orleans on February 9.
So which of these games could Taylor Swift attend? Here's what we know.
The Division Round (January 18)
As the number one seed in the AFC, the Chiefs will have home field advantage against the conference's lowest ranked team in the playoffs, the Houston Texans. Given Swift's open schedule post-Eras Tour, her attendance is expected, if not guaranteed.
Just before the end of her tour, a source told Us Weekly that Swift “plans to stay in and hibernate” with Kelce while she figures out her next move. Another source added, “They want to do ‘normal things’ as a couple. Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because [that’s when] the little nuances about someone’s personality and habits come into play. They will learn so much about each other.”
The Chiefs' division round game kicks off at 4:30 pm ET. You can watch on ABC, ESPN, and ESPN+.
Conference Championships (January 26)
If the Kansas City Chiefs win their game against the Houston Texans, they will be facing one more AFC team for a spot in the Super Bowl. Once again, the Chiefs would get to host this game at Arrowhead Stadium, which bodes well for football fans hoping to spot Taylor Swift in Kelce's VIP suite.
The AFC conference will air on CBS at 6:30 pm ET.
The Super Bowl (February 9)
This year's Super Bowl will take place at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9. Though that's obviously not Arrowhead, it seems unlikely Swift would miss the game which could grant Kelce his third Super Bowl ring in a row (and fourth total).
But that's not the only question surrounding the Super Bowl. With Kendrick Lamar headlining the halftime show, some fans wonder if Swift might join him on stage for a “Bad Blood” reunion—and maybe even a Reputation (Taylor's Version) announcement…Okay, maybe that last part's just wishful thinking.
