Teddi Mellencamp’s estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, posted a cryptic message about “dark days” after her divorce announcement.
The businessman took to his Instagram Story to share a post-workout snap of himself after taking a Hot 8 Yoga class on Sunday.
“You’re not always going to be motivated or inspired,” he captioned the selfie. “That’s where rituals & habits come in. Having good habits is what will get you through your dark days.”
“It’s when you’re under pressure that your true character is revealed,” Arroyave added.
The former Skyline Security CEO also shared a selfie alongside his and Mellencamp’s three kids — Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 4 — as they headed to a church service.
“Church bound with these beautiful souls,” he wrote.
Arroyave, 47, appeared to be staying positive after Mellencamp, 43, announced they were parting ways after 13 years of marriage.
“After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum wrote in a statement shared on Instagram Saturday.
“My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.”

“Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do, but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I felt being open, honest and vulnerable was the best path forward,” she added.
Shortly after Saturday’s announcement, Mellencamp was photographed still wearing her wedding ring.
She was seen getting into an Uber in Los Angeles while dressed in workout gear.
Earlier in the day, the Bravolebrity appeared tense while talking on the phone during a walk, according to photos obtained by People.
She and Arroyave wed in 2011 after meeting at a nightclub in Hollywood, Calif., two years before.
Mellencamp previously opened up about the start of her romance with her now-ex in a 2019 interview with Yahoo, explaining she didn’t think their relationship would be serious.
