Teddy Swims and Girlfriend Raiche Wright Are Expecting Baby No. 1: ‘Can’t Wait to Meet You Baby’

Teddy Swims and his girlfriend, Raiche Wright, revealed they’re starting a family together and are expecting baby No. 1.

The “Lose Control” singer, 32, announced the exciting news in an Instagram post shared on Wednesday, January 8. “We can’t wait to meet you baby,” the couple captioned the photos, which showed Raiche, 29, flaunting her baby bump.

In one photo, Teddy wrapped his arms around Raiche’s baby bump as they lounged on the beach. The post also included a snapshot of Raiche showing off her baby bump as she stood in the water, as well as a photo of Teddy affectionately kissing his girlfriend on the cheek.

Shortly after the couple announced the news, several social media users rushed to the comments section to send their congratulations. “STOP IT!!!! CONGRATULATIONS RAICHE!!!!! Omfg!!!!” one person commented, and another chimed in, “Awww … a Small Teddy swims comin’ soon, I’m so F excited, You are the two best to raise generations.”

“Congratulations! I could not be happier for the 3 of you … And your extended family & friends! Baby blessings all over the place … Love Peace & Happiness … God Bless your lil family,” a third fan chimed in.

Teddy – whose real name is Jaten Collin Dimsdale – and Raiche hinted at their romance when they attended a Grammys party together in February 2024. Three months later, Raiche started to join Teddy on his tour in May 2024, where they performed duets on stage together and posted content with each other on social media.

The “Bed on Fire” singer eventually confirmed their romance while appearing on The Kyle & Jackie O Show in July 2024.

“She does what I do, which is great,” he said while discussing Raiche’s singing career. “Because it’s like maybe 3 a.m. and I’m calling her and she’s like ‘Yeah, yeah I’m in a session. I’m recording vocals.’ And I’m like, ‘Girl, yeah, handle your business, baby.’”

Just hours before they announced that they were expecting their first child together, Teddy penned a touching tribute to Raiche on her birthday.

“My sweet girl @mynameisraiche you are truly the divine feminine! You are the most perceptive and caring person I’ve ever met. You’re so beautiful inside and out. So nurturing yet so tough,” he wrote alongside several photos of him and the birthday girl. “You coddle me and challenge me.”

Teddy went on to say that he was “looking forward to loving [her] forever and ever.”

“I’m so thankful and lucky to call you mine. I love you,” he continued. “Happy birthday angel! 29 is going to bring you everything you desire, need and so much more! I’m so happy to be by your side and support you through it all.”

Raiche made her appreciation known by commenting under the post, “My sweet baby, I love you !!!”

Meanwhile, several others also took to the comments section to gush about their relationship. “Love this! It’s always nice to know when you have a solid one by your side,” one person wrote, and another commented, “You guys are insanely cute omg.”
