The Real Housewives of Orange County alum, Lydia McLaughlin, attended a Nobleman event for Newport Beach Film Festival shortly after her motherâs funeral. Terry Crews gave a speech sheâll never forget.
Terry Crews delivers âbeautiful momentâ
Terry Crews delivered an impactful speech after Lydia McLaughlin laid her mom to rest. She described the moment as âbeautifulâ before talking to the actor personally and taking a photo together.
He said, âI can feel my motherâs spirit right now. My mother passed away in 2015 and she was a champion of my arts.â Lydia caught the vulnerable speech on camera, as it truly touched her heart.
She wrote on her Instagram Story, âThis was such a God wink for me having @terrycrews say this after just laying my mom to rest. What a beautiful moment,â reposting Mich Minasâ video.

RHOCâs Lydia McLaughlin lays mom to rest
Lydia, who announced her mother had passed away a week ago, declared on her Story, âLove you mom,â sharing a photo with her son. She then wrote, âMy mom was my best friend. She was my favorite.â
âShe was our world. I am so thankful to be her daughter. I feel so close to the Lord through this journey, and I have no doubt she is throwing glitter in heaven. My heart is broken she isnât with us anymore.â
The RHOC alumâs mother battled breast cancer for many years. âShe actually found out the end of my filming season 12 of RHOC and the producers knew and were very kind to us,â McLaughlin added.
Lydia continued, âShe lived two years longer than her doctors expected. She experienced a miracle during her battle. She was very private about being sick, she never wanted that to be part of her identity.â
âShe is the strongest person Iâve ever met and I have learned so much walking with her through this journey. Having 3 kids that are broken-hearted, I can see so clearly they are all hurt,â she added.
