ACTRESS Demi Moore shone as she took home her first Golden Globe at the age of 62.
The Hollywood star received her first major award in her 45-year career for Best Actress for her role in The Substance, but it hasn't been an easy ride.

While the film depicts an older woman eager to be young again, in real life Demi has nothing to worry about as her ageless looks has left fans in awe.
One X user said: "Imagine looking like Demi Moore at 62."
"Demi Moore is 62???? She literally looks like 40. That’s insane," another added.
But Demi's age-defying look comes with hard work from having her blood sucked out by leeches to family reformer workouts, here's everything the mum-of-three does to keep wrinkles away.
No Booze
Demi has been open about her struggle with alcoholism in the past and has since been tee-total.
In her autobiography, Demi opened up about how alcohol broke down her marriage with her second husband Ashton Kutcher, 16 years her junior.
In her memoir, Inside Out, she wrote: "Ashton was enjoying a glass of good red wine when he said, 'I don't know if alcoholism is a real thing – I think it's all about moderation'."
Demi continued: "I wanted to be that girl. The girl who could have a glass of wine at dinner, or do a tequila shot at a party. In my mind, Ashton wanted that, too. So I tried to become that: a fun, normal girl."
"I didn't think, 'This is a kid in his twenties who has no idea what he's talking about.' I think, 'I have nearly two decades of sobriety under my belt, and that's a huge accomplishment.' Instead, I cast about for justifications."

Demi wrote: "He's not the cause of why I opened that door up. I wanted to be something other than who I am. And it was literally like giving my power away."
She explained that she began to drink again which contributed to the breakdown of her marriage.
But Demi has been sober since 2012 after the pair split and not only has it had a positive impact on her mental health, it's also helped her skin too.
Alcohol decreases the amount of anti-diuretic hormones in your body, which is something that keeps your skin looking hydrated and helps your body reabsorb water.

Blood Cleanse
Not one to shy away from the latest beauty trends, Demi has previously admitted to letting leeches suck her blood to optimise her health.
She found the cleanse while in Austria she revealed on The Late Show With David Letterman.
"I’ve always been somebody looking for the cutting edge of things that are for optimising your health and healing, so just a week ago I was in Austria doing a cleanse and part of the treatment was leech therapy," Demi said.
She joked that these critters weren't swamp creatures but 'are highly trained medical leeches.'
Demi has leeches placed on her belly button and several other areas, adding that they prefer bare skin and no hair, so it's best to go after a wax.
Demi said the leeches help to detoxify the blood and studies have shown they have anti-inflammatory properties too that keep the skin looking youthful.
Gently Does It
Before getting on with her skincare routine, the first step for Demi is to remove make-up after getting back from a star-spangled event.
Demi revealed she much prefers a make-up removing cloth rather than wipes or cotton wool.
“This thing literally takes everything off," said Demi who dubbed the MakeUp Eraser Makeup Remover Cloth as ''magic''.
Moisten Up
According to the actress, she would take notes from her mum when it came to skincare.
She said: “My mother always drilled in me no matter what that you should wash, cleanse and moisturise your skin.”
The actress starts by cleansing her face before using three different moisturisers.
Demi first goes in with the Biologique Recherche La Grande Crème and makes sure to rub it into her hands first.
"It allows you to be much more gentle with your face and your skin. And always put any extra down on your chest, on your boobs," she said in a video for Harper's Bazaar.
Next, she goes in with two more moisturisers - Biologique Recherche Creme Dermopurifiante and Retrouve Intensive Replenishing Facial Moisturiser.
Toned Up
After applying her skincare, Demi swears by lymphatic drainage to reduce wrinkles and keep her book structure chiselled.
Demi is a fan of using rose quartz stone to activate blood flow and reduce swelling.
“You work through all the tension in your face," the A-lister explained.
"It activates the blood flow in your skin. When you’re over 50 and you feel like your skin is hitting the floor, this is an incredible uplift.”
Work It Out
Demi opened up about her addiction to exercise in her 2019 memoir.
"I didn’t feel like I could stop exercising,” Demi wrote in her book.
“It was my job to fit into that unforgiving military uniform I’d be wearing in two months in 'A Few Good Men.' Getting in shape for that movie launched the obsession with working out that would consume me.”
But now, Demi opts for a much healthier balance when it comes to working out, participating in yoga, and heading to reformer pilates with her daughters.
No Hot Food
The 62-year-old also keeps in shape with a strict diet that involves food that hasn't been cooked.
According to MailOnline, Demi sticks to a raw vegan diet centred around non-processed foods such as vegetables, fruit and legumes.
Speaking with Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi said beauty all starts from within.
''But I definitely think beauty starts on the inside,'' the celeb said appearing on Good panel.
''You can do anything you want to the outside, but if the inside isn’t looking or feeling good, then I don’t know if anything you do on the outside is going to be good enough."
