16 hours ago 15

It feels like, no matter what, you can always ~count on~ (at least!) one Duggar couple to be pregnant at a time.

Jeremiah Duggar and Hannah Duggar welcomed their second child in February 2024. Jill and Derick Dillard announced in April 2024 that she had been pregnant with baby No. 4. However, the baby girl was delivered stillbirth when Jill was four months along.

In July 2024, Jedidiah Duggar and Katelyn Duggar announced they were adding to their family once more, and this time Katelyn was expecting twins. That October, another family member made an exciting pregnancy announcement when Jinger Duggar shared that she was expecting baby No. 3.

2024 wrapped up with the announcement of one final Duggar pregnancy, as Jeremiah and Hannah revealed they are expecting their third child in 2025.

John David, the so-called “Bachelor ’til the rapture,” gave up his title after tying the knot with Abbie in November 2018. By December, they were already facing pregnancy rumors thanks to a Bible quote John David shared on Instagram. And before long, they made their own big announcement. On August 1, 2019, the couple revealed that they were expecting baby No. 1, and they welcomed her on January 7, 2020.

“Our lives have changed forever with the arrival of our baby girl,” the couple gushed to Us Weekly. “She is a beautiful gift from God. We are so blessed the Lord has given her to us. Is Jill Duggar Pregnant? Jill and Derick Dillard's Family

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard

Jill faced a lot of pregnancy speculation in 2018. First, fans thought she looked like she had a baby bump in one photo, then they noticed that she was going out of her way to crop her tummy out of pictures. In 2019, the rumors continued, with Jill shutting them down in February.

She and Derick already had two sons: Israel, born in April 2015, and Samuel, born in July 2017. The couple continued to spark rumors that they’re not planning to have any more kids. After Jill went through some scary experiences giving birth, fans thought she might take a break to rest and recuperate. In October 2020, Jill confirmed she was using non-hormonal birth control, fueling rumors they might be done for now.

However, in February 2022, the couple announced they were expanding their family again. “We’ve been keeping a little secret!” Jill and Derick’s statement read, which was posted to their blog on February 27. “Ever since we were devastated last fall by the miscarriage of our sweet baby, River Bliss, we have prayed that, if it was God’s will, he would bless us with another baby. We are excited to announce that God has answered our prayers and we are expecting our rainbow baby due July 2022! We are so thankful for a healthy baby and pregnancy so far and we look forward to finding out the gender soon!”

In March, they announced they are expecting another boy. Jill and Derick revealed that they welcomed their third child, a son named Frederick “Freddy” Michael Dillard, via the Dillard Family blog on July 11.

“He was born 7/7/2022 at 5:16 p.m. weighing 7lbs. 6oz. and is 20 inches long,” the pair announced.

The former reality stars also revealed the special meaning behind their youngest son’s name. “Frederick means ‘Peaceful Ruler’ and Michael means ‘Gift from God,’” they shared.

Unfortunately, Jill and Derick faced another tragic loss in 2024 when they revealed the stillbirth of their baby girl Isla Marie Dillard. “Jill was 4 months pregnant (due in August) when we found out that our baby died in utero,” the couple shared. “From the moment we found out we were pregnant, we couldn’t wait to meet our baby. Isla was much loved from the start, and her 3 big brothers were so excited to introduce her to their world. We appreciate your prayers as we continue to grieve and heal from the loss of our little Isla Marie.”

Joseph and wife Kendra revealed they were expecting their first child in December 2017, just three months after getting married. “During this season that we are celebrating the birth of Christ, we are so excited to share with you that we are expecting the gift of a child ourselves!” the Counting On stars revealed. “Wow, it’s so exciting!!! We’ve both always loved children and seen them as a real blessing from God. It’s so surreal to think of being parents and having our own little one. We cannot wait to see this new baby!”

Well, they finally got to meet him on June 8, 2018. Garrett Duggar joined the family at 1:38 p.m., weighing in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces, and measuring in at 20-and-a-half inches long. “No matter how many times we’ve experienced the joy of babies born in our families, there’s nothing comparable to the joy in our hearts today! Children truly are a gift from God. We are so thankful for his safe arrival and this new journey as parents,” Joe and Kendra said in their statement.

Less than a year later, they announced that they had a second gift from God, this time a little girl, on the way. “We are ready to double the fun at our house!” they told Us Weekly on April 11, 2019. “Being parents has already proven to be a greater joy than we had hoped or imagined. We love getting to parent together and are loving every moment and milestone. We are very happy that our little family will welcome a new addition later this year. Children really are a blessing from God!”

They welcomed that blessing on November 2, 2019. “She made a quick arrival in the early hours of the morning and has already melted our hearts,” they said in a statement shared with Us, revealing her name is Addison Renee. “We know Garrett is going to be a great big brother.”

On August 19, 2020, Joe and Kendra revealed they’re “so excited” to expand their brood yet again. “Garrett has already been such a loving big brother to Addison, and we look forward to Addison’s reaction to a life-size baby doll.” The tie-breaker is a baby girl expected to arrive in February 2021. They announced the arrival of baby No. 3, daughter Brooklyn Praise Duggar, on February 23.

Josiah and Lauren tied the knot on June 30, 2018, and fans started speculating right away when they would have an announcement to share. In an episode of Counting On, they shared their pregnancy news with their families. It wasn’t long, however, before they were opening up about suffering a miscarriage instead. “A couple months ago, we found out that we were expecting, but suddenly thereafter, we lost our baby,” Lauren revealed in a TLC clip released February 11, 2019. “I couldn’t believe it, and I was hoping it wasn’t true,” the mom said through tears. “It was the worst day of my life, really.”

Josiah added, “It really was a hard time for our family going through this right after we got married. And all the dreams of getting to see our little one and hold it in our hands dashed before our eyes.”

In May 2019, Josiah and Lauren announced that they were expecting again. “We are so excited to announce that baby #2 is on the way!!!!” they wrote in their caption. “It’s hard to fully express just how grateful we are for God blessing us again with another precious gift! So, as we rejoice of the life of our second sweet baby, we also remember (balloon as symbolism) our other sweet baby, Asa, in heaven. God is so incredibly good!” Two months later, they announced their rainbow baby was a precious baby girl.

On November 8, 2019, Lauren gave birth to their daughter, weighing in at 6 pounds and 5 ounces and is 18.5 inches long. In a statement to Us Weekly, Josiah and Lauren revealed the very special meaning behind the name they chose for their baby girl.

“After a long and difficult labor, our girl arrived,” the couple said. “When we finally got to see and hold our precious Bella Milagro, all the pain instantly went away. We can’t believe she is ours — she is so perfect! She definitely has lived up to her name, which means ‘beautiful miracle.’ Today we are basking in God’s goodness!”

Josiah and Lauren have since kept new arrivals in their family behind closed doors, though fans became convinced that they welcomed another little girl, Daisy, in late 2022. A July 2023 Duggar YouTube video seemingly showed a very pregnant Lauren yet again, leading fans to believe that the couple has since had a third child.

“We are blessed beyond measure with the arrival of our son, Gideon Martyn Forsyth,” they shared via Instagram at the time. “Looking at our child for the first time was such an incredible moment! God is so good, and we are so thankful.”

In the spring of 2019, the family announced baby No. 2 was on the way! Unfortunately, the couple revealed just a few months later they suffered a miscarriage at 20 weeks, about halfway through the pregnancy. They took to Instagram to share the devastating news with their fans and followers, revealing the baby would’ve been a little girl named Annabell Elise. “Annabell means ‘God has favored me,’ and Elise means ‘God satisfies,’” they explained. “What a precious thing to know that when our daughter opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the face of Jesus.”

Thankfully, good news came in March 2020 when the couple announced they were expecting another baby girl. “I’m not actually as scared as I thought I was gonna be after miscarrying at 20 weeks,” she told fans right after taking a pregnancy test that seemed to confirm the news. “I thought I was going to be so nervous, but I really am not. I’m excited.” They welcomed their daughter, Evelyn, on August 21, 2020.

Joy-Anna revealed she was pregnant again with baby No. 3 in a sweet Instagram post on October 5, 2022.

“We’re having a baby oh my goodness,” she said in a joint YouTube video. They became a family of five on May 19, 2023, when Joy-Anna gave birth to their little boy.

“He’s here!” the mom of three shared via Instagram. “Thank you all for praying … Mama and baby are recovering well,” she continued, keeping details to a minimum.

Bonus! Amy Duggar and Dillon King

Amy Duggar, the “rebel” cousin to the main Duggar brood, took to Instagram on Easter Sunday in April 2019 to share the exciting news with her followers that she and her husband, Dillon King, were expecting. “Baby King is on the way!!!” Amy captioned the post. “Happy Easter from our growing family to yours!!” Unlike many of Amy’s cousins, who traditionally welcome their first kids not long after marriage, the duo waited four years to make an addition to their little family.

Later, Amy and Dillon revealed that they’re having a baby boy. On June, Amy shared a photo of herself and Dillon sitting on a bed, where they shared a sweet kiss as blue feathers floated all around them. “B💙Y!!!!” Amy captioned the shot.

A few months later, their little one finally arrived in October 2019. “Announcing Daxton Ryan King!” Dillon’s sister, Loren Bullard, told In Touch. “Both mom and baby are great and healthy! He was 7 pounds, 8 ounces and 20 inches long. Smooth delivery!”
