The New Year brings new opportunities for many and a chance to start anew. Whether it is a resolution to eat healthy or a pact to catch up on your favorite show, there is something for everyone. But for reality TV fans, January is extra special because it means the newest season of The Traitors is upon us. The competition series took the network by storm and proved to be one of the best new shows to date. Now Peacock is adding a few extra Real Housewives to the mix and incorporating a spin on their famous taglines. So, which one will come out on top? Let’s take a look.
1. Dorinda Medley is the Queen of the castle
The former Real Housewives of New York star is used to being the head of her household. While wearing a snazzy red silk outfit Dorinda Medley is comfortably sitting in her leather chair. She tells the cameras, “You may know me as the Lady of the Manor, but now I’ll be the Queen of the Castle.” The tagline is a nod to her Bluestone Manor and Alan Cumming’s Scottish abode. Dorinda looks poised and ready for anything the competition has to throw at her. The New Yorker isn’t above getting dirty or putting in a bit of effort. She has always been known to be highly competitive, too. In my opinion, Dorinda’s Peacock tagline is rated the highest due to its ability to highlight her true personality. I think the other Real Housewives will have to watch out for D because she hates to lose.
2. Dolores Catania is giving mob wife wives
Dolores Catania is no stranger to dealing with a few backstabbers and being okay with it. She has had many years of practice when it comes to making sure she isn’t snitched on, and people tell the truth. After a dismal season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Dolores is more than ready to show that she has some star power left in her. The mother of two notes, “Backstabbing and treachery? I thought this was going to be an escape from my real life.” For years, Dolores has had to deal with her close friend, Teresa Giudice causing all sorts of problems. So, I imagine that Dolores is well-equipped to call out a traitor. Due to Dolores’ firm moral fiber (hahahahaha), she will most likely be cast as a truthful, meaning any traitor should make sure to look over their shoulders.
3. Robyn Dixon is bringing reasonably shady vibes
As one-half of the green-eyed bandits, Robyn Dixon is more than ready to make her mark. Fans might have almost forgotten about her after not being asked back for the newest season of the Real Housewives of Potomac. But Robyn is making sure to make quite the statement in her tagline. The mother of two notes, “You can banish me or murder me. But you’ll never forget me.” Um, are you sure about that? While wearing a khaki outfit, Robyn sat poised as she rattled off her new tagline. I’m not sure what to expect from Robyn as this is her first real competition show. But the former RHOP housewife is strong and doesn’t appreciate losing. Being married to a cheating former NBA player would have taught her how to stay focused on tasks. Who knows she might make a pretty amazing traitor if Alan so chooses.
4. Chanel Ayan is giving in her tagline
When it comes to Chanel Ayan, I would expect nothing less than her strutting around the castle in some over-the-top frock. Chanel quips, twirling in a pink bedazzle outfit, “Diamonds aren’t girls’ best friends; daggers are.” As the rookie out of all the Real Housewives Chanel will have to prove she can hang with the best. Fans already know she is ruthless when it comes to the Real Housewives of Dubai. The model expects the truth and loyalty, two traits that make for a great faithful. Even though Chanel loves diamonds, she definitely loves winning money more.
Viewers will need to tune in to Peacock on January 9th to see just how well our beloved Real Housewives do when the game officially kicks off.
