It seems Hugh Jackman may have a new leading lady in Younger star Sutton Foster.
The duo, who have been starring together in the play The Music Man, have been friends for a long time, having both been fixtures of Broadway. Lately, though, rumours have been swirling that things aren’t just platonic anymore.
After years of friendship, multiple sources now tell Page Six that Foster, 49, and Jackman, 56, have fallen for each other.
“They are 100 percent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together,” a source told the tabloid.
“They go out of their way to hide it, but it’s common knowledge,” said another, telling Page Six that the couple have been vigilantly staying out of the public eye.
And now, amid these rumours, comes a new plot twist that may confirm the news.
As reported by Page Six, Foster has filed for divorce from her husband, Ted Griffin, after ten years of marriage.
The actress and Ocean’s 11 screenwriter wed in 2014 and adopted one child together. Neither has publicly commented on the split yet.
Meanwhile, Jackman and his ex, Deborah-Lee Furness, announced their separation in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage.
The former couple, who share two children, decided to clarify their relationship status when fans noticed they had unfollowed each other on social media.
“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” they said in a statement announcing the split. “Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
The pair first met on the set of Australian TV drama Corelli in 1995 and were married in 1996.
