On December 25, the NFL prepared one of its big events for Christmas Day. Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans were in charge of making both fans and the world audience vibrate, as the game was broadcast on Netflix. As in every great American sporting performance, there was a musical performance at halftime.
Beyonc? was the one chosen to take to the makeshift stage at Houston's NRG Stadium, her hometown. Among her guests were Shaboozey, Post Malone and her 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy. In total, the halftime show lasted approximately 13 minutes. Now, the British portal Daily Mail reveals the figure that she pocketed for that brief performance.
Beyonc? pockets $20 million for her NFL halftime show
According to the figures reported by the Daily Mail, the American artist could have pocketed around $20 million for performing at halftime and for social media deals during the game. In addition, several other sources claim that within that money there would also be part of the contract that Beyonce and Netflix would have agreed for her performance.
The British media outlet claims that this deal consists of three parts with the streaming giant. The first of these was the documentary that showed her 2019 performance at Coachella. At that time, Beyonce also earned $20 million from Netflix. The second part of the contract was this show in the break between the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans.
The third part of the same is still unknown, but it is likely to be valued at another $20 million. This was the first time Beyonce has performed since her husband, Jay-Z, was accused of rape amid the investigation into the events at Sean 'Diddy' Combs' parties.
