The Tennessee Titans are set to take on the Detroit Lions, but they will do so without starting quarterback Will Levis. Levis suffered a shoulder injury that has not quite healed yet.
With Levis out again, the team will lean on backup quarterback Mason Rudolph to lead the team on Sunday against the Lions.
Levis suffered a shoulder injury to his throwing arm when the Titans played the Miami Dolphins in Week 4. He attempted to make a return but reaggravated the injury in Week 6.
Despite Titans head coach Brian Callahan stating that Levis is their starter, he just has not been healthy enough to play. Injuries to throwing arms are never good to rush through as well, so expect Levis to sit until he is fully healthy.
In his stead, Rudolph will once again lead the offense. The backup quarterback has secured 300 yards, one touchdown, and one interception through the one-and-a-half games that he has played in.
The Titans have been struggling through the entire 2024 season. They are currently 1-5 on the season, with their lone win coming against the Dolphins in the aforementioned showdown in Week 4.
