NFL legend Tom Brady began the new year by sharing a deeply emotional message about fatherhood and gratitude. In a touching Instagram post on New Year's Day, Brady shared a carousel of photos featuring his three children: Jack, Benjamin and Vivian.
His heartfelt caption emphasized his commitment to being a better parent and expressed gratitude for the blessings in his life.
"I couldn't have imagined a better way to ring in the new year than with the loves of my life," Brady wrote. "Reflecting on last year and thinking about the year ahead, there's no better perspective than looking at these three and always trying to be better for them each day and helping to guide them in whatever way possible."
The seven-time Super Bowl champion also shared a poignant quote from Big Panda and Tiny Dragon by James Norbury, underscoring the importance of relationships over destinations.
"The people you share your journey with are more important than the journey or the destination itself," the quote read, setting the tone for Brady's reflections on his personal journey.
Brady continued to express his gratitude for the people and experiences that have shaped his life.

"I'm so grateful for the experiences, blessings, family, friends, and everyone else who has impacted me along the way," he wrote. "No year ever goes exactly the way we want, but when I think about 2024, I could not have imagined anything better. So many new experiences that I got to share with amazing people, especially the three beautiful angels in these photos.
"I wish you all a happy, healthy 2025, and as I tell so many of my loved ones, 'The best is yet to come!'"
Focused on fatherhood after retirement
Since retiring from the NFL for good, Brady has dedicated more time to his role as a father, taking his children on memorable trips and creating cherished family moments.
In July 2024, he took Benjamin and Vivian on an adventurous getaway to Montana, where they enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing and zip-lining. Later in November, Brady brought all three children together for a Thanksgiving celebration, without mother Gisele Bundchen, referring to them lovingly as "his everything."
