Tom Holland on What’s Going To Change When He Has Kids

In a recent interview with Men’s Health, Tom Holland opened up about his plans after he has kids. He joked that he wouldn’t be doing movies anymore and would spend his days enjoying his life on a golf course. His priority will be to take it easy and be there in his children’s life as a present dad. However, he didn’t reveal if he has plans of welcoming little ones into his life anytime soon, so his dreams of a quiet family life away from the spotlight might be a way away.

Earlier this month, Tom Holland got candid with Men’s Health, as he is the cover star for its January-February issue. While he touched upon a lot of topics, something that caught everyone’s attention was his mention of children during the interview.

Holland touched upon his relationship with Zendaya and also his plans for when he does welcome kids into his life. In the interview, he revealed that while he does love to attend Zendaya’s premieres, he avoids walking the red carpet with her to draw attention away from her. He also revealed that while he does do normal things like going to the supermarket, his stardom adds some twists to his everyday outings.

Thus, he would like to take a step back and keep out of the spotlight when he does have kids of his own. “You will not see me in movies anymore,” he said. The actor then jokingly noted, “I will just disappear off the face of the earth.” Holland teased that his fans might not catch him on the big screen anymore once he becomes a father. His sole focus will be to be a good dad to his children who is present for all their milestones. However, he might squeeze in a couple of sessions of golf in between his dad duties.

Notably, Zendaya has shared similar notions when it comes to parenting. In a 2024 interview with British Vogue, the actor stated that she wouldn’t want her kids to deal with the pressures that come with stardom. While she would love to continue acting, she would like to do the same with breaks in between. This way, she could vanish off the face of the earth with her family in between, much like Tom Holland, ensuring they can maintain their privacy.
