“Daily Show” correspondent Michael Kosta spotted a truly bizarre moment at a Donald Trump rally this week as former Fox News host Tucker Carlson compared the nation to naughty children.
“And when dad gets home, you know what he says? You’ve been a bad girl. You’ve been a bad little girl and you’re getting a vigorous spanking right now,” Carlson said. “You’re getting a vigorous spanking because you’ve been a bad girl ― and it has to be this way!”
The audience cheered ― and Kosta mocked the right over it.
“You see, America? These Trump people, they aren’t weird,” he said. “They just know that Trump is a big, strong daddy coming home to spank us all. Totally normal stuff!”
Then, he envisioned what Carlson might say about inflation.
