Tristan Thompson was feeling the love towards three of his four children by sharing adorable and rare photos of them on Thursday, December 19, but fans noticed that his son, Theo, was missing from the post.
The Cleveland Cavaliers player, 33, showed son Prince — whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig — alongside his two kids he shares with Khloé Kardashian: daughter True and son Tatum.
In one snapshot, Tristan stood smiling behind Prince, 8, and True, 6. Another photo showed Prince and Tatum, 2, as bonding brothers. Several snapshots showed all of the siblings together and appearing happy.
Tristan captioned the post with a red heart emoji, but some fans immediately noticed that he didn’t include any photos of son Theo, 3, whom he welcomed with personal trainer Maralee Nichols on December 1, 2021.
The athlete has yet to share any photos of the boy, and didn’t acknowledge he was the baby’s father until January 2022, when a paternity test proved he was Theo’s dad.
“A REAL MAN would still take accountability for all his choices and accept all his children,” one person commented, while another user told Tristan he was “Missing one.”
“This is bad….what of the other boy, they all deserve to know each other, your mistakes cannot be his,” a commenter scolded Tristan, while another added, “Imagine how that other baby’s going to feel seeing these. Do better!”
Jordan, 33, was pregnant with Prince when Tristan began dating Khloé, 40, in the summer of 2016, shortly after the longtime couple split. She gave birth on December 12, 2016.
Tristan and Khloé welcomed True on April 12, 2018. He was embroiled in a cheating scandal at the time, but the pair ended up staying together.
The duo went on to break up in February 2019 after Tristan was caught kissing Kylie Jenner‘s then-BFF Jordyn Woods at a Los Angeles house party. They eventually reconciled and broke up again, but decided to give True a sibling via surrogate, who became pregnant in November 2021.
However, Tristan already had secret baby on the way with Maralee, 34, at the time.
News broke that Maralee sued the NBA star for child support in the days before their son’s birth. In the court documents, the fitness influencer claimed that the baby was conceived on Tristan’s 30th birthday on March 13, 2021. She also claimed that they began their affair five months prior to her pregnancy. Tristan initially denied that he was the father of Nichols’ baby until a paternity test proved otherwise.
The Canada native wrote in a January 3, 2022, Instagram Story, “Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.”
He added about the scandal, “Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you.” Their son Tatum was born in July 2022.
Maralee is seemingly raising Theo as a single mom, sharing Instagram photos of their outings to zoos, farms and other locations, while calling her son “my best friend!” Tristan has not appeared on her account and has never shared a photo with Theo.
