Tulisa missing from I'm A Celebrity spin-off show after 'swipe' at campmates

10 hours ago 7

Tulisa wasn't to be seen from I'm A Celebrity's spin-off show Unpacked.

The 36-year-old pop star didn't appear on the programme, hosted by Joel Dommett, for "personal reasons". The N-Dubz singer was the third celebrity to be eliminated from the ITV show this week.

But since she's left the jungle, any show-themed posts uploaded to Tulisa's Instagram feed when she was in the jungle have been removed. She had seemed to suggest some stars in camp weren't being genuine, but in a video posted on her Instagram she insists she doesn't think her co-stars are being "fake".

On Tuesday night's (December 3), episode of Unpacked, host Joel Dommett told viewers: "Tulisa won't be joining us on the sofa tonight, but former Queen of the Jungle, Jill Scott is here instead to give us all her jungle insights."

Tulisa suggested some of her co-stars were being "pally" for the cameras

An ITV spokesperson told The Sun newspaper that Tulisa's didn't appear on the spin-off show because of "personal reasons." However, Tulisa did appear on Lorraine on Tuesday to discuss her time in the jungle.

Here, the former X Factor judge star insisted she had made "friends for life" on the programme, but suggested some of the stars were playing up to the cameras. She said: "I feel like I have with some of them. I think they will be friends for life."

She was the third star to leave the jungle

However, she suggested some jungle friendships may not be as strong as viewers may think. She added: "But a lot of people for the cameras were being very pally pally, but the real test will be when everyone is out."

"Will they make the effort to send texts in the group chat? Will they do the four-hour drives to see each other? We'll see..." Tulisa said leaving the jungle was a "happy thing" for her, because life in camp had been tough.

Speaking to hosts Ant and Dec immediately after the hosts revealed she didn't get enough votes to stay in camp, she said: "I'm not gonna lie, it is tough in there so leaving is still a happy thing!

Tulisa also admitted her time in camp has made her appreciate life on the outside. She added: "I just think you're gonna be more grateful for the food you eat, the people around you. You don't realise how good you've had it."

"[I've learned] just to stay strong with my convictions, it can be testing in here. So just be yourself."

The singer has since broken her silence on her exit from the show and clarified her comments about her campmates. She said in a video: "I do not think any of my campmates are fake. I was having a conversation on Lorraine and what I was trying to say was, typical me just thinking out loud, is that everyone in there is gonna have one or two individuals we're way more close with than others and that when we get out is when you're really gonna see those friendships nurtured and the people that really become your friends for life.
