Niles and Matilda are 90 Day Fiance’s newest couple navigating the huge distance between them. When Matilda recently manipulated Niles into marrying her, things turned sour for the couple.

90 Day Fiance‘s Niles flew to Ghana to marry a Ghanaian woman, Matilda. He never informed her that he couldn’t marry her on the trip, but did so after he met her in person and made a romantic proposal.

Niles travelled to Ghana to propose to Matilda, but still wasn’t ready five months later. He said he would only do the knocking ceremony and marry Matilda later during a return trip to Ghana.

He stated he had informed her about his plan not to get married to her on this trip. However, Matilda dismissed his claim, while he wanted to postpone the wedding until he had the funds to do so.

Awkwardly, she had already begun planning the wedding. It was then Matilda’s idea that Niles meet with Mr. Arc, the local community leader, to discuss his participation in the knocking ceremony.

Some viewers believe she manipulated him into a wedding, which he ended up cancelling, as Mr. Arc told Niles that knocking was just a custom and in Ghana, Niles had to follow their culture and customs.

They drop huge hint about marriage

Niles and Matilda have dropped a major hint they’re still married. She shared a photo of them holding hands and wearing their wedding bands on November 20, just two weeks ago.

They’ve both been sharing videos about their relationship, with Niles saying they’re “learning how to communicate” on TikTok, and Matilda writing: “When there is an issue, we talk about it. It’s good for us.”

The two currently follow each other on Instagram and speak highly of one another. Unlike some 90 Day couples who have gotten used to their fame, they seem as down-to-earth as they always were.

Other hints include the cutest video of them hugging in a car and Matilda kissing her new partner on the cheek. Matilda’s Facebook profile also shows her in a bridal outfit, suggesting she is married to Niles.
