TV star's son back on mend after 'worst pain in stomach' left him hospitalized

Lisa Barlow’s son, Jack, is on the mend. He faced a terrifying health scare during his Mormon mission, which left his mom understandably concerned while filming The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City follows the lives of glamorous stars, most of which live by the Mormon religion. Lisa Barlow’s son, Jack, faced health issues while on a religious mission.

Lisa Barlow’s son, Jack, 20, was hospitalized while he embarked on a Mormon mission. He woke up with the “worst pain in his stomach” and had to be rushed to emergency care during the night.

“Health-wise, he’s like, fledgling a little bit. I don’t want to get emotional,” Lisa said as she started to tear up, revealing Jack was on his way to Colombia. “He’s just having some health problems.”

“He was like, ‘Is it my appendix? What’s going on with me?’ He couldn’t stand up,” she said during season 5, episode 3. “As a mom, it’s the worst thing to know your kid isn’t doing well and you’re not there.”

Jack is back on the mend

Jack has revealed he’s “feeling good and healthy” after doctors ran “every test they can.” He called his mom with a health update, revealing he’s in the finest dining establishment in all of Colombia.

His mom then told him they’d gotten his PET scan back and it looked “amazing.” She revealed to her son, “You know, I stress about you. I get so worried, so keep us posted.”

Lisa’s younger son, Henry, also chimed in to tell his big brother not to worry, as he and his dad were concerned about him, too. She explained, “Jack’s been having some health issues.”

“I’m going through a lot. Jack’s still going for weekly testing, as they haven’t figured out exactly what the problem is. We ruled out a lot of bad things, which makes me happy and less stressed,” she added.
