Now, 1000-Lb Best Friends star Vannessa debuts a total transformation during season 3.

The 1000-lb Best Friends star first started filming the reality TV show two years ago. In 2022, she weighed 448 lbs, reports Today. Now, she weighs in at 175 lb.
Although fans are seeing Vannessaâs weight loss journey during the TLC show, her process actually began many years before she rose to fame.

As a child, she says her mom âspent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on quick weight loss solutions such as pills, the grapefruit diet and sent me to fat camp.â
Vannessa says: âI tried my whole life. Itâs weird how I never got my crap together enough to do it âtil I was in my forties,â she says.
Before the show, the star âweighed 535 pounds at her heaviest and was bedridden between 2010-2013,â reports the outlet.
TLC fans are in awe
As Vannessa shares recent snaps of herself to Instagram, she has her fans totally astonished and âproud.â
