Right when we thought the cast of Vanderpump Rules was riding off into the sunset, bound for the next best days of their lives, a bombshell of an allegation strikes. Following a heated argument, James Kennedy has just found himself in handcuffs, and he is now staring down a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.

Photo Credit: Charles Sykes/BravoWe recently reported that James and his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, were doing well after VPR’s cancelation. This update was a positive one. But now, things may have taken a turn in the wrong direction.
At this point, we do not know if Ally was the alleged victim of this narrative. All we know is what transpired, which TMZ first reported on.
On the night of December 10, James and Ally attended Kathy Hilton’s annual Holiday Party. Following this event, the pair headed home. At some point after their arrival, a call went out to the Burbank area Police, who quickly arrived on the scene.
This altercation took place between James and an unidentified woman. A nearby witness claims that they saw James and this woman arguing, and allegedly, James grabbed her at one point. Thankfully, the responding officers saw zero visible signs of injuries on this female.
After the officers investigated this incident, they determined it was a domestic violence situation. James’ arrest followed. He is now staring down misdemeanor domestic violence charges.
TMZ’s sources state that James was released shortly after. His bail was $20K, which he posted. Moving forward, the Burbank City Attorney’s Office will be handling this case. Further charges could follow.
