David Beckham was seen having a chat with a familiar face as he sipped pints with wife Victoria Beckham.
The football legend headed to The Chequers pub in Chipping Norton for a Saturday night out with his family. They decided to swap their swanky Michelin-starred restaurants for the cosy settings of the countryside pub. David and Victoria could be seen sat in the corner of the boozer as pints of Guinness sat on the table.
During their low-key evening, they were approached by a TV star who couldn't help but say hello to the famous couple. Clarkson's Farm star Gerald Cooper headed over to David and joined him at the table for a chat. Gerald is known for being on Jeremy Clarkson's hit Amazon Prime show and won over fans with his strong West Country accent.
He works nearby the pub at Jeremy's Diddly Squat farm in Chipping Norton. The farmer was seen walking over to David, who stood up to greet him. In photos seen by the Daily Mail, David donned a white T-shirt as he greeted Gerald and appeared to invite him to his table where Victoria was sat. The Spice Girl kept warm in a grey roll-neck jumper as she appeared deep in conversation.

Gerald has a lot to celebrate following the past year. The TV star was diagnosed with prostate cancer in early 2024, yet revealed he was "happy and healthy" following cancer treatment in the summer. The 74-year-old received the news he is cancer free. Gerald was all smiles as he donned a knitted jumper for the announcement posted on the Clarkson's Farm official account. The caption read: "A healthy and happy Gerald!"
Fans shared their support in the comments as one said: "Awesome news." Another added: "Can’t like this enough, we love Gerald!" Someone else commented: "So happy he’s doing well!" A fourth wrote: "Proper job Gerald!" A fan declared: "Legend." In the latest Amazon Prime series of Clarkson's Farm, Jeremy and Kaleb broke the news that Gerald had been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Jeremy revealed that Gerald was doing well and recovering after having a procedure. The TV star previously opened up about his friendship with Gerald. He said a few years back: "It doesn’t matter if you can’t understand what he’s talking about, because he’s usually talking about Manchester United. He’s fantastic. We’ve known each other for a very long time. He’s 72, also never been outside the village, but has worked on this farm for 50 years. He’s a great dry stone-waller, which is a dying art."
