Victoria Beckham reached out to her daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, expressing her heartbreak over the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.

The Spice Girls singer, 50, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message about the ongoing disaster, which has so far claimed five lives and destroyed thousands of homes.

She wrote: "Seeing the devastation and loss caused by these wildfires is truly heartbreaking. Los Angeles holds such a special place in our family's hearts, and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected, especially those who have lost their homes or loved ones.

"We are immensely grateful to the brave firefighters and first responders who are risking their lives to protect others. Please stay sage and look after each other during this devastating time. Victoria x."

The fashion mogul subsequently posted an image of herself and Nicola, 30, who has been married to her eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, 25, since 2022.

Tragically, five people have been confirmed dead in the blaze, with over 1,000 homes destroyed and more than 70,000 residents evacuated.

The Pacific Palisades, a wealthy neighbourhood in LA that houses numerous A-list celebrities including Mandy Moore, Paris Hilton, Anthony Hopkins and Jamie Lee Curtis, has been one of the areas most severely impacted.

Taking to social media, Brooklyn shared an image of the wildfires from his $3.8million condo, with flames illuminating the night sky.

The photo was taken from a window of the Peltz family's LA condo, with Brooklyn adding a broken-heart emoji. It's not known if they have evacuated.
