Vogue Williams was fiercely defended by comedian friend Joanne McNally after husband Spencer Matthews made a quip about her appearance.

The couple, known for their sharp wit and playful jibes, found themselves in hot water when the joke didn't sit well with Joanne. On her podcast 'I Ghosted My Therapist', Vogue, 39, reminded Joanne: "He [Spencer] said something about me having small t*ts and you went for him."

"You said, 'I'm only allowed to say that', he couldn't understand why he wasn't allowed to say it."

"Yeah, it was the tone or something, I just didn't like the tone of it," Joanne, 41, confirmed.

Vogue laughed off the memory: "That sounds like you might have been serious, 'I know you look at those nipples all day long, but doesn't mean you can slag them [off]'."

Joanne elaborated on her stance, saying: "It's all about the tone, there was no wink at the end, no, no, no, I intervened. I can say you've got s**t t*ts but if your husband says it, it's totally different."

Despite assuring Vogue she didn't really think she had "small t*ts", Joanne informed her that such a size was now trendy, referencing a report she'd read. The amusing exchange comes as Spencer and Vogue recently announced their professional parting of ways, with Spencer stepping down from their shared podcast, 'Spencer and Vogue', reports Dublin Live.

In an emotional farewell, he expressed: "I'm moving on from this podcast to pursue other business interests and focus on my upcoming challenge. I've loved doing this show and it would never have been as popular as it would be without the listeners.

"I'll miss the show enormously and Vogue, I'll miss working with you in this capacity but I will be replaced by somebody of equal or superior charisma, much funnier, very happy to talk about gossip, but we both love her very much and she's an epic member of our family and she'll do an incredible job!"
