Some are accusing her of 'rage-baiting'
Everyone has their own tips and tricks around how they make their relationship survive, from weekly date nights to separate duvets. For Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo, though, maintaining relationship equilibrium is a bit more... official. In a recent TikTok, the I'm A Celeb winner revealed that she and her fiancé James Wyatt sit down for quarterly relationship reviews. 'People might think it's weird, but we think it's really normal,' Georgia says in the video, while sat on a table with her laptop. She explained that the couple start their reviews by sharing what they love about each other and their relationship, before going on to discuss areas of improvement. 'This is the savage one we talk about things that we could do better or feedback that we would like to give,’ she said.
She said this type of discussion was crucial to their relationship. 'If you don’t nip in the bud these tiny, completely irrelevant things like your lip balm they can turn into bigger major things that actually could affect your relationship,' she said. ‘I highly recommend. Before I sign off, the one that consistently comes up on James’ part, he politely says “We should do more budgeting” I.e. I need to stop spending so much.’ The video has generated a lively debate in the comments, with some TikTok users suggesting that Toff is 'rage-baiting' with the video. Another said 'it's not a business transaction' while a third quipped 'I hope this is all done with HR involved.' Others supported Georgia's idea. One user wrote 'if it works for you guys all power to you. Others can judge but at the end of the day there's someone that matches everyone - don't let the negative comments get to you.' This isn't the first time that Georgia and James have caused a stir on the internet. In January, the couple took to Instagram to share their thoughts on mixing careers with personal life. 'If you love what you do, you don't need work-life balance - you need work-life integration,' said James. Georgia agrees, adding 'It's so true. When I met James, I was quite taken aback by how aligned we are on the important stuff. One of those is lack of work-life balance, but in a really beautiful way. Work knows no bounds. Constantly in our home, we are working but we do things that we find incredibly fulfilling and we also have a supportive other half that loves high-octane obsession with what they do.' James followers were quick to suggest the couple were 'out of touch' for not acknowledging the realities of different people's situations. Georgia and James announced their engagement in October while on holiday in Greece, with a post on Instagram. 'James asked me to marry him. It really was the best moment of my life so far. I never knew I could feel happiness like this. The easiest, quickest yes to being your wife,' Georgia wrote, while showing off her engagement ring.
