A crowd of pub-goers got the surprise of a lifetime when a routine night of karaoke turned into a private A-list performance.
While everyone was enjoying their night at a pub in Glasgow, there was one '90s star hidden in their midst who could have gone completely unnoticed.
Until he took to the stage to perform one of his band's biggest hits.

Fran Healy of Travis emerged from the crowd to belt out the rock band's iconic 1999 track, Why Does It Always Rain On Me?.
The song is from the band's second studio album, The Man Who.
The musician shared a video of him mid-song at the pub to social media. "When in the Horseshoe Bar after 9pm... and they put your song on..." he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

In the background, the song lyrics appeared on screen – not that Healy needed them.
The star sang the whole song to a sea of phones as the pub-goers joined, all the while making sure to get the iconic moment on camera forever.
At the end of the track, Healy thanked the crowd who erupted into a round of applause.

It wasn't just the pub-goers who were impressed by the spur-of-the-moment performance.
The comments section was flooded with messages from fans praising the singer. "Brilliant ! Class is permanent & Fran simply oozes class," one person said.

"Imagine being in that Bar when that legend gets up and belts out that little number ? What a top bloke," they added.
"Jealous of every single one who got to witness that," another person wrote.
"The sheer happiness of everyone there, so glad just to be there enjoying that moment. Beautiful," someone else remarked.

The singer also shared the video on Instagram. Healy noted the band's next performance that night at the Hyrdro in Glasgow was their last for the year.
Healy rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band, Travis.
The band was formed in 1990 in Glasgow. The band currently comprises of Healy on vocals, bassist Dougie Payne, guitarist Andy Dunlop, and drummer Neil Primrose.
The group are known for other hit tracks like Sing, Idlewild, Driftwood and Side.
