Shekinah Garner and Sarper Güven had their 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way costars shook when they snacked on sticks of butter in between filming the tell-all reunion. Shekinah revealed that butter is one of their most-consumed foods, as it’s a part of their eye-catching diet.

Shekinah and Sarper’s season 6 costars were speechless while they fueled with butter during the tell-all in November 2024.

“Sarper and I eat butter every day. We basically only eat meat, butter, cheese – just high-fat foods because we’re on a carnivore diet,” Shekinah told the cameras.

TLC shared a clip of the moment via Facebook on November 21, 2024, and fans had a lot to say about their diet – both good and bad.

“Yes!! Look up the carnivore diet. I have been on it since August. Lost 40 lbs and my blood labs look great, including cholesterol and ALT. Triglycerides 6.6 down to 5.9 It’s a proper human diet. Good for them!! I thought it was insane at first but it’s a life saver!” one person commented.

A second person wrote, “So if they want to eat butter, so be it, but to carry it around with them and to eat on national TV is so bizarre. Offering it to others was so gross.”

What Is a Carnivore Diet?

The carnivore diet is a meal practice that consists of options including, “Meat, poultry, eggs, seafood, fish, some dairy products, and water,” according to Harvard Health.

“Vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes, seeds, and nuts,” are excluded from the diet.

Shekinah and Sarper’s Relationship Woes Revealed During ‘90 Day Fiance: The Other Way’ Season 6

The pair shared financial issues together and individually during season 6. While Shekinah extended her stay in the United States due to money woes, Sarper started spending money from his savings account. He claimed that Shekinah wouldn’t allow him to train females in the gym, which made up “90 percent” of his income.

Later in the season, Shekinah and Sarper got into a heated fight. The altercation resulted in Shekinah accusing the fitness professional of ripping out hair extensions from her head. Sarper claimed to have grabbed her phone and accidentally yanked her extensions mid-pull. Shekinah later forgave Sarper for the altercation.

The two got engaged at the end of the season after Sarper proposed to Shekinah during a boat ride in Turkey and later held an engagement ceremony in celebration of their milestone.

Although they aired out the problems in their relationship, Shekinah and Sarper remained unified during the tell-all. However, Shekinah walked off stage after Sarper’s ex DeeDee virtually joined the couple onstage. Before storming off, DeeDee revealed that she and Sarper remained “in touch” since November 2022. More notably, DeeDee admitted to offering to hang out with Shekinah and Sarper.

Shekinah addressed the moment via Instagram Stories on November 19, 2024.

“You didn’t see the whole scene but she was sitting there telling me over and over that Sarper wouldn’t cheat on me and that he is an honest person,” Shekinah wrote. “I know that already obviously, but what got to me was her (a one night stand) telling me (his girlfriend of three years) what he would or wouldn’t do. I put up with a lot and finally walked off stage.”

The reality stars are still engaged as of publication. On November 21, 2024, Shekinah gushed over her love with Sarper while celebrating his birthday via Instagram.
