In his role, Niles was excited to launch an advisory council – consisting of “self-advocates and representatives from disability organizations” — to “identify and address” the needs of those served by the Alabama Department of Mental Health’s Division of Developmental Disabilities.
“Niles is also a strong advocate for increasing the involvement of people with disabilities in the political process. He believes that it is essential for people with disabilities to have a seat at the table when decisions are being made that affect their lives,” the website stated. “Niles is also a firm believer in the power of education. He is currently pursuing a degree in social work, and he plans to use his education to help others with disabilities achieve their full potential.”

However, returning to the franchise for a spinoff will earn the TLC personality a little more cash, but it “doesn’t go up much more,” the insider added.
Niles Faced Financial Hurdles Throughout His Engagement to Matlida
The Alabama native traveled to Ghana to meet his online girlfriend, Matilda, for the first time. Although his plan was merely to propose to Matilda on their trip, he found himself pressured into marrying her as well, largely due to her and her family friend, Mr. Arc.
When Niles tried to postpone the marriage as he felt they needed more time to get to know each other, Matilda stormed off and said he was “disgracing her.”
“People will laugh at me,” she explained during the October 21, 2024, episode. “I don’t know what is going on. Maybe it’s a prank. I don’t know. Because we discuss about this when he was in the U.S. If he comes here, we’re gonna get married. And he was saying, ‘OK.’ So I’m not OK at all. I feel like dying right now [sic].”
