Elon Musk has quickly become one of the most outspoken supporters of Donald Trump, both during his presidential campaign and ahead of his inauguration. The Tesla CEO has spent quality time with the former and future president and has even spent the holidays with the Trump family in Mar-a-Lago.
However, many are wondering about Elon's relationship with the rest of the family. According to multiple sources, Donald's wife, Melania Trump, has positive thoughts about Elon and is not "bothered" by her husband's friendships.
“Melania is glad to have a babysitter for Donald, and she will find some kind of project to team up with him herself if he stays around,” a Palm Beach source told People magazine. "Melania has her own life and isn't bothered by political dealings her husband has with others," the insider detailed.
"But so far, she has no issues with Musk," the source said. “Melania is in good spirits and does her own thing, and is not bothered one way or the other by Musk hanging around,” the insider continued. “For the most part, she is not involved with subjects her husband is discussing with Musk or anyone else hanging
around him."
"Right now, Trump has a lot of people wanting things from him. She is all too aware of that," the source told the publication. "Melania is glad to have her husband busy with his work," the insider added, "and so far Musk is part of that mindset."
Following the presidential win, it was reported by CNN's Kaitlan Collins, that Elon was joining Donald at Mar-a-Lago, "nearly every single day," bonding while golfing and dining, and also "weighing in" on White House staffing decisions." He also spent New Year's Eve with the presidential family and became a big part of the Trump team.
