What's really going on with Tulisa and I'm A Celeb as she snubs certain campmates and only some reply

Tulisa Contostavlos has broken her silence after leaving I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! and hot-footing it to the UK before the star-studded series has finished

Tulisa Contostavlos insists she is 'sending love to her jungle fam' after skipping the show's final tonight.

After hot-footing it to the UK before the series finale as well as deleting all I'm A Celebrity posts from her Instagram, the N-Dubz star, 36, has been surrounded by reports of feuding with her best friend as well as being annoyed by the show's editing since she was given her marching orders by the public.

However, taking to Instagram today, she apologised to her campmates for missing the final while thanking ITV for her experience Down Under. Sharing snaps of only two celebrities, she wrote: "Looking back at some of my favourite moments from the @Imacelebrity jungle. It’s been a whirlwind. Thank you to @itv for the experience and sending so much love to my Jungle Fam before the final tonight. Sorry I can’t be there to celebrate with you all."

Tulisa posted a series of pictures of her time in camp after previously saying she was unhappy with the way her friends had documented about her experience while taking care of her social media pages during her stint in Australia.

However, the only campmates the singer has included in her montage are Alan Halsall and Oti Mabuse. Tulisa spoke about how close she was to Oti during her only interview after the show with Lorraine Kelly, gushing: "Oti's just the most beautiful human – really hard to come across someone so genuine, so pure, I loved her." Oti was one of the first campmates to reply to Tulisa's message today, posting two love hearts.

Also responding to the post was Dean McCullough, who immediately replied telling the absent star: "We love you. You are with us in spirit my babe and can’t wait to see you when we get home xxxx". Maura Higgins also took the time to reply, writing: "Miss you wanna squeeze you love you." Tulisa mentioned her friendship with Maura, Melvin Odoom and Alan Halsall, telling Lorraine: "they were like my soul family in there."

However, the other campmates are yet to respond and it is not known if the former X Factor judge will post snaps of any of the other celebrities in her montage as she gets used to life out of the jungle.

Tulisa was notably absent from greeting former co-star Melvin at the hotel following his exit from camp on Tuesday, with Jane and Dean inside to greet him. It was reported at the time that it's understood there is "no bad blood" between Tulisa and her campmates.

A source told the Sun: "Not having Tulisa at the hotel with the other stars has been odd, and people don't know whether or not she'll be back to film the reunion. Naturally everyone just wants her to be all right and ITV and her campmates are being supportive."

Tulisa's absence from the hotel came amid her speaking out over reports that she had a "huge row" with close pal Michelle McKenna after leaving the jungle. Michelle ran Tulisa's Instagram while she was away, but it was reported the 'female judge' wasn't happy with some of the posts she put up.

Speaking to Mail Online, a source claimed: "When she got out of the jungle and saw what had been put on there, she was upset and it prompted a huge row. You can't help but think that seeing her friends living it up like that while she was roughing it in the jungle must have really annoyed her."

Tulisa, however, hit back at the suggestion, saying she had "no issue" with Michelle or her boyfriend, Daniel Johnson, who came to Australia to support her.

She said in a post: "Absolutely no issue with my sis's posts. I haven't argued with my best mate in over 10 years. We literally don't have arguments, they don't exist in our world. Only love. Same with my bro. That's what makes us so strong & my soul fam so special to me. Say what u want about me, but leave my Shelly & Dan alone."

Tulisa has also addressed her deleted posts about I'm A Celebrity from her Instagram page since her departure from camp. She said: "Hey guys, I'm just doing a little video to clear a few things up. When I first came out of the jungle, I felt fine first of all and then that evening, my friends went to bed and I was on my Instagram, just trying to have a casual scroll at some funny stuff.

"I was getting a lot of attention, a lot of bombarding - in all the most positive way, but because it's been a bit of a while for me, I can get overwhelmed quite easily and I just started to feel a little bit overwhelmed. And I was like, do you know what? I need to just take a little bit of time for me and just chill. This is all just feeling a bit much at the moment.

"I'm just going to archive all my stuff to do with the jungle and then, when the time is right and I've had time to process, I'm going to make my own reels of my best bits that I really like. Because remember, I haven't been doing my Instagrams. The way it's being posted and all the random stuff is not how I would do my Insta - I would have one or two really good reels relating to the jungle and bringing my time together there.

"But I just really wanted to clear up the reasons why that I did that and just be honest - it's OK to feel a little bit overwhelmed. I've been out of the spotlight for a long time and I'm still trying to overcome those things, I've got my demons. It doesn't mean I'm going to hide behind a rock for another ten years it just means I need a little bit of time to process it and get right with my thoughts. Thank you to ITV and I'm A Celeb for being really understanding. Mental health is really important and I am super grateful for the love and support that I've had."

Admitting life in the spotlight again after a 10-year hiatus was 'overwhelming', she concluded: "I've just felt overwhelmed. I'm an introvert, guys - I've been in the jungle with people I'd only just met for two and a half weeks straight and then I've come out and I've received loads and loads of attention and I'm like, 'whoa - this is a lot!' and I just need a bit of time."
