WhatsApp is on a spree of launching new features for the masses and the Drafts Indicator is the latest addition. WhatsApp introduced a new feature named ‘Message Drafts’ for all users worldwide for both iOS and Android devices. With the feature in action, users will be able a green-highlighted Draft indicator alongside all the unfinished messages on the home screen of WhatsApp.
This feature will help all the multitaskers who get interrupted or distracted or maybe forget to send a message that is important. And Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg said terms this feature as a ‘we all need this’ feature. And the feature will aim to help the users organize their inboxes. If the feature is not available on your device then there is no need to worry or start looking for an update. WhatsApp is slowly rolling out the feature for all the countries and you will get it soon.
What else is on the cards?
Apart from the Draft Indicator feature, WhatsApp is also working on multiple features that will sort things out further for the users. One such feature will the be List feature that will focus on letting the users organize their WhatsApp messages. The feature will allow the users to create custom filters for their inbox messages like professional, family, friends, and more.

Now, if the users select the professional category, then they will see messages from that category only in the list. And this is not it WhatsApp is also testing a few Status related features similar to Instagram that will make the Meta-owned instant messaging platform more interactive. We can expect to see more features making their way to the stable version of WhatsApp pretty soon.
