‘White Lotus’ Season 3 Official Trailer Teases Romance, Mystery and Murder

The White Lotus season three trailer gives us more Americans behaving badly in paradise, along with a dash of spiritual longing as guests check into a luxury hotel in Thailand.

“What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand,” says one guest staying at the “best in the world” hotel where, at the end of one week, guests are assured they will be “an entirely different person,” promises the trailer below.

The season is once again from writer-director Mike White, who has teased that the third season will be a “satirical and funny look at death and eastern religion and spirituality.”

The first season highlighted money and the second season highlighted sex. Here’s the logline: “The social satire is set at an exclusive Thai resort and follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week.”

The sprawling cast includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong and Aimee Lou Wood.

Rothwell is the only known returning cast member from a previous season. She played Belinda the spa manager in The White Lotus season one. (Here’s everything we know about season three.)

Additional cast include Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, Scott Glenn, Dom Hetrakul, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Julian Kostov, Charlotte Le Bon, Morgana O’Reilly, and Shalini Peiris.

The new season premieres Feb. 16 at 9 p.m. on HBO, and will be available to stream on Max.

The White Lotus is created, written, and directed by White and is executive produced by White, David Bernad and Mark Kamine.
