AN ACTOR who had appeared in Netflix's Sex Education has been found guilty of 26 sexual offences, including the rape of a teenage girl.
Here we take a look at the life of Alexander Westwood and the crimes he committed.
Hailing from Albrighton, Wolverhampton, Alexander Westwood is a 24-year-old actor and convicted sex offender.
He started his professional acting career in 2018, when he played a fireman in Outlawed.
Since then Westwood has had small roles in other TV shows and short films, which included two episodes in BBC One soap, Doctors.
Guilty verdict
On December 10, 2024, the jury at Wolverhampton Crown Court took less than two days to find Westwood guilty of all 26 charges he faced.

The actor was convicted of sexually abusing a girl multiple times, sexually abusing a boy, raping a teenage actress he was teaching and abusing other pupils in his acting class.
He was described in court as a "supreme manipulator" who was obsessed with sex and used his stardom to prey on his victims.
Westwood denied the charges, stating he never did "anything sexually inappropriate" but after a four-week trial was found guilty.
He will be sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court in February.
