Despite appearing on season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Statler and Dempsey were not present for the tell-all in November 2024.
Why Aren’t Statler and Dempsey on the ‘90 Day Fiance: The Other Way’ Season 6 Tell-All?
In August 2024, Statler first revealed that she was not participating in the tell-all, despite being in New York City with the rest of the cast at the time it was filmed. She claimed that she was not invited by the network.
“Accomplished what I needed to in NYC,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Apologies to all the people I didn’t meet – was a bit of a rushed trip! Thanks 90 day/Sharp Entertainment for showing me how truly scared you are of little old me by refusing to have me at the Tell All.”
Many fans speculated that the reason the couple was not invited is because they spoiled their storyline on the show with social media posts before all of the episodes aired.
Are 90 Day Fiance’s Statler and Dempsey Still Together?
Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way featured Statler and Dempsey navigating living together in a van. However, in June 2024, before the season even premiered, Statler seemingly revealed in now-deleted Instagram posts that they had already broken up, spoiling what was to come on the show.
“How it feels knowing your ex is living rent-free in the van [and] you are paying $700/month rent for her to do so?” she wrote. “Unable to rent your own place w/out going into further debt while she lives debt free b/c you unknowingly helped her pay off her debts b/c she manipulated you into taking on more. Can I afford her $700/month van rent and my own apartment rent? Find out next time on ‘You’ve been scammed by a British gypsy & everyone saw it coming but you!’”
Although she quickly scrubbed the comments from her page, eagle-eyed fans had already grabbed screenshots. In September 2024, Statler answered fan questions on Instagram and confirmed, “I am single, yes.” She also said that she and Dempsey would not be returning to the 90 Day franchise, adding, “That’s a wrap for us.”
The drama between the women continued when Statler accused her ex of cheating on her. “She’s stayed at her place like two months before but told me not to worry even though my intuition told me to. She was sketchy af about it, too,” she shared. “I found out DURING filming, but b/c I wanted to protect her reputation I took the fall. I took every fall.”
She also slammed Dempsey for not returning her childhood stuffed animals. “Please ask Demps to return my childhood teddies, the thousands of dollars she owes me from the van and all of my belongings, best of luck,” she wrote on Instagram in October 2024. “P.S. I’m still single. Still working on myself and healing from all this madness.”
Dempsey then accused Statler of “bullying” her and spreading “malicious lies” about her, adding “I have kept quiet for so long because my peace and my mental health is worth more to me than having to prove myself to anyone. Online bullying, lies being spread about me and defamation of character are all things a specific person is doing to me to try and ruin my life. So for people who don’t know the whole truth, know there are always two sides to a coin. Just because someone decides to keep quiet and not tell their story, that should be respected. So think next time you decide to jump on a bandwagon you know nothing about.”
In November 2024, Statler confirmed that Dempsey had returned her stuffed animals. “Thank y’all for demanding she bring them back – it worked!” Statler shared. “And thank the post ppl for not letting them separate or fall out even though the bag she packaged them in wasn’t very good.”
Why Did Statler Spoil ‘90 Day Fiance: The Other Way’?
In October 2024, Statler explained why she was being so public with her claims against Dempsey, even though it seemingly ended up getting her banned from the tell-all.
“I am a recovering people-pleaser, a recovering walking doormat, and it’s become very important for me to speak my truth and to stand in my power,” she said. “I realized that last year after having my character completely destroyed. This has affected my life. This isn’t just some show. I’m now almost 35 living at my parents’ house. While I do take responsibility for putting some money into this van that was in another person’s name – and that’s a hard lesson to learn, to trust your intuition – all of that would have been made easier if what was agreed upon came to fruition. Unfortunately, I have been pretty much stonewalled, which is why I’m having to do this so publicly because it seems to be the only thing [I can do]. I am recovering financially. It has taken a hit on me.”
