Why Jennifer Aydin’s Jersey Mike’s Freak-Out Is Absurd

Jennifer Aydin has always been the pitbull of the Real Housewives of Jersey. The self-proclaimed Turkish princess has been all bark and no bite since she first appeared during Season 9. Since then, Jen has really embraced the role of a bully. And yes, I know this is a trigger word for some, but the Paramus resident has done little to squash the title. Recently, she was caught yelling at a Jersey Mike’s employee, leaving fans thankful the series will most likely be given a whole new cast.  

Was Jennifer Aydin hangry during her Jersey Mike’s outburst?

Jennifer was “like so mad right now” after a visit to her local Jersey Mike’s store, which didn’t go as planned. Jen took to social media to share how she had been wronged when trying to order her favorite deli sandwich. Alongside her friend, she shared, “They took our order, and then they took the lady’s order that was after me, but they fulfilled her order first somehow, made us wait.”

Jennifer claimed that “the 80-year-old” working at the establishment was to blame, noting, “Everything was slow. We’re not complaining. We get it. It’s early in the morning. You’re in a bad mood, it’s New Year’s, you’re working — I’d be pissed too.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star revealed she decided to add another sandwich after ordering, but an employee told her she’d had to wait in line again. Jen then shared that the customer or “hater” behind her also wasn’t happy about the addition.

Bill Aydin can be heard in the background telling his wife that no one was smiling. Jen then notes, “I am a f*cking celebrity, you assh*le!”

Jersey Mike’s employee hits back at Jennifer Aydin

The Jersey Mike’s employee responded with their own video, which has since been deleted. In the video, the worker said, “I really hope this stupid b*tch has TikTok. I really hope I come up on your ‘For You’ page, b*tch. I hope you recognize me.”

The employee went on to claim that the RHONJ star caused massive delays after she couldn’t decide on a sandwich and placed extra orders for her family members who were not in line. The worker added, “Like, girl, that’s not how that works.” The employee ended their video by saying, “She starts recording all of us, and she posts it. Learn how to order.”

Jen’s co-star, Danielle Cabral, also took issue with her outburst. The Staten Island native told fans, “I feel compelled to say if you guys only knew what it was like to be involved with this person while she’s berating me on how I treat people.”

Danielle added, “I wanted everyone to succeed, even that assh*le, even this schmuck with what she did the other day. A leopard never changes its spots. At the end of the day, the truth always comes out, and the true colors of certain individuals always comes out.” 

Jennifer Aydin should know you catch more flies with honey

Firstly, Jen, You are not a celebrity. You are a reality TV star. These are two very different animals. While yes, there is no denying you have garnered some kind of recognition from your Bravo placement, it is by no means the same caliber as if you just won an Oscar. Freaking out on a minimum-wage employee over a sandwich just shows your true colors. And, ma’am, they are not pretty.

We’ve seen this attitude in Jennifer before. She often enjoyed acting like she was better than others. During a BravoCon panel she was annoyed by a fan who asked if she could possibly crawl further up Teresa Giudice’s a**. Her reply was to call the fan, who was a woman, a “big boy” and a “waddling whale.”  

The Garden State housewife is not humble and would rather go low when others go high. Times are changing ever so slowly, but one thing is for sure: there is no more room for a Real Housewives star who takes joy in bringing others down. Lest she forget, many of her followers are normal everyday workers who watch the series as an escape from reality.

So, personally, I don’t need to see Jen back on Bravo. I’m tired of her absurd outbursts and hubris. So take a seat, Jen, and enjoy Jersey Mike’s sandwich. I hope that acting like a Grade-A meanie felt as good as the sandwich tasted.
